Debutant director has done a nice job in this slick thriller movie.plot has good twist and turns keeping viewer engaged. The second half does get a bit tedious at times. Of course there are some places where director takes audience for granted. The cast has done a nice job especially Gautam Vasudev Menon as a cop. The climax with Gautam is a nice work! Enjoyable fun film to watch with family.

Great movie, started a bit slowly then took off, DQ is in top form, Ritu has done good job, GVM has beautifully stolen our hearts with his mass entry then re entry in Delhi and finally with post climax climax VTV reference was awesome, would have loved to see more about Ritu and GVM story.
End credit made me miss VTV some good old days, need to watch again, hope Netflix or Amazon Prime Video buys digital rights of VTV

First of all it's not only romance but also crime,drama,thriller. I've never expected this film to this much. While watching the trailer promos and all I've thought that this film is just another normal commercial masala entertainer kinda flick, but I was haunted after 30 mins of the film. Dulquer was phenomenal as he was always. Background score makes it a seat edged thriller. Ritu was charming all the time. Gautam's classic performance on screen makes it worth. His activities are gonna make you to beyond expectations. Rakshan makes us smile most of the time and makes some crappy comedy in important scenes that will irritate you. And also their is no moral to the story at the climax portion which was actually loved by me. Why? Everyone thinking that every movie must have to end like giving some moral for peoples? It's the way it is. That what we have to get from this!. Watch it for twist and turns which you never expect.

It starts of as a cliched rom-com for the first 20 to 30 mins then kick starts from there as a technological robbery with friendship,love, action,humour,betrayal, twists and turns keeping the audience engaged and strapped to their seats till the last second of the movie... Sure there was some flaws but negligeable...

Overall a good flick, except for the side-kick character Kallis whose dialogues restate everything that just transpired in the scene before throughout the movie. He would restate the whole scene like how the characters in an audio podcast narrate everything for the listeners to visualize. It was a frustrating and i wished throughout the movie that the Kallis character would just shut up!

DQ and his friend get most screen time and they engage us throughout, except for the scene wit Bike Mechanic which I thought was bad. Real locations, good acting and plot from the main cast, keeps the audience engaged throughout with the comedy from DQ's side kick which was very entertaining, twists in 3 places were excellent and that keeps the movie alive, I thought the songs complemented the movie. Overall a Solid Entertaining watch, you will come out of theatre happy! Unlike a lot of recent Tamil movies which claims to be funny but is very ordinary..

Started out amazing with interesting twists. but at the end it became too predictable and too cliché. At first they were mad that they got cheated and then they managed to prank them in return. Should have stopped there. It was a bit unnecessary to bring them back together and to give it a happy ending, in my opinion. Not all South Indian movies need a happy ending. Apart from that, the storyline of GVM was an interesting revelation which explains his intense determination.

Highlights-
Interest in Dulqeer made me watch the movie, no regrets though :)
Paced watch, length could have been shorter with some patches being edited
Creative and screenplay is at its best
Till last moment suspense is maintained
Seems like Bollywood would catch this gem soon as Remake!

Many unnecessary coincidences with many flaws in the script. It shows police are very incapable, but that is not true in life. Coffee shop is where i thought they could have easily caught the culprits. The movie tries to fool the audience with cheap hacks such finding the phone pattern lock etc. And recording on the phone of a targets house, And the guy has to put the phone in the pocket?? Are u crazy? Your wife will not ask you whose phone it is??

Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal is a good entertainer with a fantastic screenplay that keeps you engaged throughout the film. The way they game the online marketplace system and cars through technology looks believable irrespective of logic. Overall, a nice entertainer you can watch with friends and family.

Decent entertaining story between the go free youths who is involved online shopping and digital thefts and two scam girls from orphanage. The suspense and twise play is notable in majority of the places but becomes predictable towards the end. GVM performace rises amid all the characters, which demands a greater depth for his character in the script.
With notable BGM to keep the plot lively, the love scences are just an other tamil cinema cliche. All characters in the protagonist group are so carefree about life which somehow makes the viewer NOT to be serious about what will happen next which could have made the film more gripping in the suspense angle, but helped in the humour point of view. The extremely catious heroin pulled her scam out of police officer defies her character built during the complete film.

This is not a typical Indian romance film. The story is just mind blowing . It has a huge number of twists .
In the first 1 hour, you may think it as a common romance film. Then the the plot twists get started .The next part is just awesome. I would recommend this movie . You must enjoy this.

Contrary to mediocre trailers and promos,Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithal is a pretty engaging light hearted romantic thriller with an enjoyable mix of romance,comedy and thrills.
Desingh Periyasami has cleverly utilized situational humor,small twists and the lovely chemistry between the lead actors to cover up the cinematic liberties,logical issues and minor loopholes on the screenplay which otherwise could have affected the flow of the narrative.
Leaving aside a slighly dull first 10-15 minutes,the 162 minutes long movie is thoroughly entertaining and an uber cool Dulquer Salman the funny conversations involving DQ and Rakshan clubbed with sequences featuring Goutham Vasudeva Menon made the best part of the movie.
Music by Masala Coffee band was average the background score by Harshavardhan and Rameshwar was good.

The plot of the movie is very much interesting and keeps you engaging. The story starts in a simple manner but results into huge twists and turns with several ROFL moments and hilarious antics. A family entertainer with a tinch of thrill in it. I personally loved the execution and will surely recommend it. Do give a watch.
The tamil entertainer soars high with its grippy screenplay and catchy direction.

Dulquar nailed it entirely with his charming and cool attitude. Rakshan friend of Dulquar in the movie cracked timely comedy and it worked out in most of the scenes pretty well. Both of them played brilliantly. Co-actress Ritu varma and Niranjani also did thier role very well.
GVM a cop in the movie stealed the show with mass performance with his english dialogue as well as hillarious scene in the climax which you would not except. 😅

Good story, doesn't fall in the clichéd south asian movie trope however it could have been crisper, sharper, instead it was trying too hard to be cool. I honestly almost gave up during the first 20-30 minutes but I stayed for DQ.
Things I liked 1) Story 2) The non preachy-ness 3) Kutti2 Easter eggs that the south Indian movie buffs will love 4) DQ
Things that i didn't like 1) Songs 2) DQ's Sidekick 3) The details that didn't make sense in the scams esp the ATM scene 4) They could have casted the 2nd heroine as the heroine, she was dusky and definitely prettier and I'm pretty sure she had better acting chops rather than using her as sulky friend.

The movie was very much hyped because of Salman but turned out to be disaster. The casting was very bad except Salman, the lead female actor Ritu Varma was an horrible choice for the role. Oh yes one key aspect about the irritating character in the movie was Tarshan who takes the attention away from the movie with his non sinc dialogue delivery and zero acting skills with his own annoying modulation. Overall the movie would have been better if the casting was good with an average script.
