Relaxingly Good

Like all good B&B, guests should be made to feel relaxed and welcomed. So too for the audiences/viewers for this Korean reality TV series. Hyori and her husband are a cute couple, going through their normal life as owners of a B&B on Jeju Island.

Like "Terrace House", the winning formula seems to be to showcase genuinely nice people in a real but interesting setting. Though in this case Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-Soon are a celebrity couple. And yet they are refreshingly normal and honest.

Watching them and their guests is simply relaxing and fun.

Walk lightly in the spring

The concept of the show is simple in that a famous couple open their house as a hotel for visitors to stay, aided by a famous assistant. The assistant in the first series Lee Ji-eun and in the second was Im Yoon-ah who were both outstanding and natural. The true stars of the show though are Sang-Soon Lee and Hyo-ri Lee the owners of the house who are charming endearing and highly entertaining. The interaction with the varied guests is lighthearted caring and sometimes insightful and in series two Park Bo-Gum turns up to help Yoon-ah for a few days. The famous people all seem normal down to earth and respectful and the warmth of them all makes you want them to be your friends. Easy watching, simple entertainment but highly addictive.
