Midge sets a toe in the water of the boob tube. Susie gets her a gig on an arthritis/rheumatism telethon. She is given a terrible spot and her archenemy, the awful comedian played by Jane Lynch tries to submarine her. Susie is present at all times and may have made a serious error. But when she hits the stage, doing clean stuff, she is quite astounding. A second plot line has to do with Abe and his tenuous grip on reality. He is filled with anger and it is starting to cause serious damage. Excellent episode.

In the great scheme of things I would have given this a 9 were I voting for a film, but judging by the other votes, I cannot push down in the rankings this episode, so a 10 it must be.
It was great from beginning to end, and ended on a high note that many episodes don't.
Just apart from anything else, the actors, sets, costumes and story line are spot on. I'm enjoying this series so much more than I expected.
