- Sky trys to poison Payton.
- A girl pretends to go missing. Then she comes back the day of the election.
- River commits suicide via gunshot, however the act is not seen on screen but blood is seen splattering on another character
- A suicide attempt is made by someone. They try jumping out of a window.
- Two boys plan to kill their dying father, but they are stopped when the father awakes from his coma. The scene is somewhat comical, but it's still quite dark in it's core
- Ricardo drops a bullet into a bucket of rat intestines, then shoots the bullet a payton

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- A student says she has cancer. Some may find this intense. It's later revealed her grandmother made it up and she was faking it.
- In the first episode we see a character talk about and go through suicidal thoughts and he mentions that in the past he had attempted to commit suicide, later one he shoot himself in the head and we hear the shot and see the blood splatter one someone who was with him, which can be very intense for some viewers
