Telemundo is riding the longest ratings winning streak it’s ever had in Spanish-language television.
The NBCUniversal-owned network has topped Univision in primetime for two consecutive months, closing out April with substantial leads over its rival. Telemundo averaged 1.2 million total viewers and 344,000 adults 18-49 for the month, topping Univision by margins of 21 percent and 22 percent in the two measures.
That’s a big change among the Spanish-language broadcasters, where Univision has long been the leader (and still holds the edge for the 2023-24 season as a whole).
The two-month streak has been powered by the reality series La Casa de los Famosos — a version of Celebrity Big Brother — and Telemundo’s long-running novela El Señor de los Cielos, which is currently in its ninth season. La Casa de los Famosos led all of Spanish-language TV in April, with weeknight editions averaging 1.4 million viewers and 387,000 adults 18-49. Sunday episodes checked...

Sharon Osbourne isn’t welcome in America anymore. Here’s what she has to say about it. Sharon Osbourne Reveals Her US Opportunities Are Dried Up Following Her Exit From The Talk
Sharon Osbourne may have been voted out of “Celebrity Big Brother” as fast as Princess Kate’s uncle had been, but not before she shared tidbits about what her career is like overseas, which strictly speaking, was where she thrived at in recent years.
Sharon Osbourne Feels She Is Banned From The USA
“I got banned in America,” she said during a conversation with fellow housemates Lauren Simon and Louis Walsh. “I can legally, but nobody will employ me because they say I’m racist.”
Her mates from the house supported her and insisted there was no way she was racist, especially since she was from a minority group herself.
Walsh particularly told her she did nothing wrong,...

Twelve houseguests appeared in CBB2, including Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, Blossom actor Joey Lawrence, and WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie.
Singer and reality TV star Tamar Braxton was voted the winner of former NFL running back Ricky Williams. They beat out Olympic runner Lolo Jones and Dina Lohan (Lindsay Lohan’s mom) to make the final vote.

The streets surrounding the Angel of Independence in Mexico City filled with smiling faces on a warm night in mid-August. People waved flags, crowds chanted and clapped, and cars honked their horns. If this were any other night, you might assume a major soccer team had just earned a championship trophy and brought it out to the fans. But a very different win was being celebrated that night — and by a completely different group of people.

The phrase “15 minutes of fame” simply doesn’t apply to Spencer and Heidi Pratt, the husband-and-wife reality star duo better known as “Speidi” since they began dating during the second season of the Laguna Beach spinoff The Hills. Since those early 2000s MTV reality docuseries days, the couple, who eloped in Mexico on Nov. 20, 2008, has appeared on various reality TV shows and competitions, from Celebrity Big Brother seasons 11 and 19 to Celebrity Wife Swap, Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars 2, and the short-lived spinoff The Hills: New Beginnings. There was an even shorter music career for Heidi who released her debut studio album, Superficial, in 2010.
Never ones to take themselves as seriously as their quest for fame, Heidi and Spencer recently launched a pop culture video podcast with The Ringer Podcast Network, a Spotify Studio. Appropriately titled Speidi’s 16th Minute, the podcast delves into celebrity gossip, the behind-the-scenes realities of creating...

The BBC has found itself in hot water once again over the behind-the-scenes behavior of one of its highest profile presenters.

Nolan was paid more than £400,000 last year and hosts shows on Radio 5 Live and Radio Ulster.

ABC’s The View still hasn’t had a man as one of the permanent hosts, but talk show personality Ross Mathews claimed that he got very close.
Mathews, who made a name as an intern and a correspondent for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, went on to make regular appearances as a judge on RuPaul’s Drag Race, and as a panelist on Chelsea Lately.
He’s starred on Celebrity Big Brother and had his own short-lived talk show Hello Ross! And Mathews is currently a regular on The Drew Barrymore Show.
Other men like Mario Cantone made regular appearances in the host chair. But Mathews claims he was seriously considered for the cast permanently and even made a deal until network executives had other plans.
Ross Mathews was a huge Barbara Walters fan before ‘The View’
“The View was really fascinating,” Mathews said on the Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef podcast.

Deceptive. Intense. Spinetingling.
Peacock's newest reality TV superstar, The Traitors Season 1, captured the alluring mystery of playing a secret role party game.
It's no wonder the format found love around the world, with earlier versions airing in countries like the UK and Australia. The game is a must-watch for fans who love a core strategic game.
But why has The Traitors felt like something new? It's not the first time reality TV dealt with secret roles and sussing out an evil force.
The Mole Season 6 challenged players to hone their deductive skills to find a saboteur. FBoy Island had daters figure out who was looking for love. And even The Circle on Netflix plays with the idea of catfishes. Sometimes mysteries are at the heart of the game.
The Traitors stands out amongst its counterparts in the way it values and showcases the journeys on both sides of the coin.

HBO Max is delving into the life of one of the more infamous figures in Hollywood’s recent history.
The streamer is developing a drama based on the life of Heidi Fleiss, the former “Hollywood Madam” who ran a prostitution ring that had a number of high-profile clients. The project comes from writer and executive producer Maggie Cohn (The Staircase), with Fleiss serving as a consultant on the project.
Fleiss was arrested on a number of prostitution charges in 1993, and her trial on the charges was a media sensation. Though Fleiss herself never revealed names of her clients, Charlie Sheen testified that he had used Fleiss’ services numerous times; Australian media mogul Kerry Packer was also named during the trial.
Fleiss was convicted in state court, though that was overturned after an appeals court ruled jurors had swapped votes to avoid a deadlock. She was convicted on separate federal charges...

Rylan has taken aim at scalpers after tickets for Eurovision 2023 sold out in just over half an hour.
This year, Eurovision is being held in Liverpool. Ukraine, the winners of the 2022 contest, were unable to host due to the ongoing war with Russia.
On Tuesday (7 March), tickets for the event went on sale online, but left many fans empty-handed.
Ticketmaster’s website crashed following the rush to purchase tickets, and tickets have subsequently emerged on resale sites for thousands of pounds.
You can follow the latest updates here.
Writing on Twitter, Rylan – who co-hosted the handover and allocation draw earlier this year, and who has been a commentator for the Eurovision semi-finals since 2018 – condemned those who are reselling tickets at vastly inflated prices.
“To the people selling Eurovision tickets at Ridiculous resale prices that arnt [sic] proper fans – p****s,” he wrote, alongside a Gif of a man extending his middle finger.

UK TV personality Stephen Bear has been sentenced to a 21-month jail sentence, following his conviction in December for “voyeurism and two counts of revenge porn.”
The reality TV contestant – who won the 18th series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016 – had secretly filmed himself in 2020 having sex with his then partner Georgia Harrison, also a reality TV personality in the UK, then had the video uploaded to the OnlyFans website, also without her knowledge.
In sentencing Bear, Judge Christopher Morgan said the reality TV personality “wished to exploit the economic value of the recording,” due to the fact Harrison “would have been known and recognised by many people.”
Bear was also given a restraining order not to contact Harrison for five years. Harrison, who has appeared in several reality TV shows, including Love Island and The Only Way Is Essex, waived her right to anonymity during Bear’s trial and...

When did reality TV shows stop being, well, real? Critics of the genre will argue that they never were, and they might have a point. No one believes the cast of Made in Chelsea just so happen to bump into each other on the King’s Road every other day. But think back to Big Brother, or even the early series of Love Island, and you’ll find a lot more reality. Members of the public, unused to cameras and far less bothered by the opportunities that could come from these shows, let their guards down and created great TV in the process. If they returned to other reality shows, it was with a filter in place and any innocence gone. The dreaded self-awareness had set in. These contestants are now Reality TV Stars, here to play the Reality TV Game.

Kim Woodburn has said that Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield should have been fired from This Morning over “queuegate”.
The Celebrity Big Brother star, 80, shared her thoughts on the drama during a recent appearance on the Not My Bagg podcast.
Last year, the ITV presenters found themselves in the middle of a scandal – dubbed “queuegate” – after they were accused of “jumping the queue” to see the Queen’s coffin lying-in-state before her funeral.
Both Schofield and Willoughby denied the accusations, stating that they would “never jump a queue”.
ITV supported the pair, claiming that they were “there in a professional capacity as part of the world’s media to report on the event”.
Speaking about the incident, Woodburn told hosts Joe and George Baggs: “They were not asked to cover the Queen’s funeral.

Posting on her Instagram Stories, Shanna shared a sizzling poolside shot as she drew attention to her fit and curvy figure. She also picked a very skimpy swimwear look.
The photo showed the blonde close up in sunlight, backed by an outdoor swimming pool and lush greenery.
Looking like a total bombshell, the 47-year-old looked far younger than her years as she afforded a slight Pamela Anderson vibe.
Showing off in a wet and burgundy red bikini, Shanna highlighted her figure while soaking up the last of the summer rays, also offering no caption or geotag.

Rhoa star Kandi Burruss won’t be joining The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Pic credit: ©ImageCollect.com/Carrie-Nelson
It seems like Kandi Burruss might be willing to “skip a bag,” after all.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently revealed that she isn’t open to joining the latest Real Housewives spin-off, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.
Many would be surprised because Kandi’s tagline on Rhoa is, “I never skip a beat or a bag.”
She prides herself in seizing opportunities and even turning what some would view as a negative into a business opportunity.
Kandi created the Welcome To The Dungeon burlesque show after a season where there were rumors that she had a sex dungeon at her house.
So, why would Kandi skip the opportunity to be on the Rhugt?

What better way to settle a disagreement from a reality show competition than to go on another show? At least that’s the way Celebrity Beef host Joel McHale sees it as he welcomes former Celebrity Big Brother castmates Todd Bridges and Cynthia Bailey to his E! series’ kitchen in the August 16 episode. The Diff’rent Strokes star and Real Housewives alum, who got into it during Season 3 earlier this year, are tasked on Celebrity Beef with making a chicken dish. McHale will decide the winner based on taste and presentation. The victor takes home 10,000 for their chosen charity and a trophy they may or may not want to display. Ahead of the episode, Bridges sat down with TV Insider for some dinner conversation. Did Celebrity Beef bring back all those memories of Celebrity Big Brother? Todd Bridges: Me and Cynthia made up before Celebrity Beef. So, it was nice...

Cynthia Bailey and Todd Bridges are bringing their Celebrity Big Brother drama to Celebrity Beef. The two competed on the CBS show's third season earlier this year but were far from friendly while living in the sequestered house. In fact, they even traded verbal blows and obscenities during one particularly heated argument. Thankfully, all that's in the past—or it was. As Cynthia exclusively told E! News ahead of the Aug. 16 episode of Celebrity Beef, she and Todd became "really good friends" outside of the Big Brother house, but she's still eager to break down what exactly happened between them. Added the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, "It's just really...

Only days after Khloe Kardashian welcomed her second child with Tristan Thompson, her ex Lamar Odom made an appearance nearby.
Khloe and Lamar’s relationship didn’t end the best, though the former Laker star has nothing but positive things to say about the mother of two.
It’s unclear if there’s an ulterior motive or if he’s simply browsing, but Lamar was spotted in Hidden Hills searching for a new Los Angeles home.
Hidden Hills happens to be Khloe’s current neighborhood, as her house was built toward the end of last year.
Page Six reports the 42-year-old NBA star toured a property in the area on Monday. The property itself is work about 7 million.
Apparently, Khloe’s home isn’t far from the property that Lamar visited.

Miesha, Miesha, Miesha. After 29 days, it was Miesha Tate who added another championship to her proverbial mantle as the Season 3 winner of the CBS reality series Celebrity Big Brother. The trailblazing Mma fighter dominated the competition alongside her ride-or-die Todrick Hall. The two were strong allies and forged an unbreakable bond, which was the common thread throughout the game. In the end, the evicted houseguests (minus SNL vet Chris Kattan who left the show early) chose Miesha by a vote of 7-1 to earn the $250,000. The network’s “Chicago” franchise dominated viewership during primetime. “Chicago Med” started off at 8 p.m. with a 0.8 rating and 6.9 million total viewers. And while crazier things have happened (I mean, who would’ve guessed that Jordan Lloyd would’ve won Season 11?), Cynthia’s going to have to win something, anything...

What you talkin’ about, Celebrity Big Brother? Ahead of the reality show’s February 23 finale, it was Todd Bridges and Lamar Odom sent home in a double eviction. The two were initially put on the block by Head of Household (Hoh) Todrick Hall. Todd didn’t go down without a fight though. He beat Todrick and Miesha Tate head-to-head in the Celebrity Luge “Power of Veto” competition. Of course, the sitcom star took himself off the block. A split vote led to Todrick deciding it was game over for Lamar rather than Cynthia Bailey.
