Out of my mind

It doesn't make any sense to my head, a proffessional vet, 27 yo, no phone? And still had to go out with helper & driver? Oh come on. This kind of sweet cute love only excite an elementary school girl. Real girl on their 20s should not get excited by this kind of relationship and this kind of guy. The worst story line. It doesn't add up to today's condition. Even worst than a fairytale with fairies in it.

More Mature and More Make Sense

After the whole 15 years finally this movie has the sequel. Watching this story reminds me of my teenage's memory where I believe this sweet-long distance romance can exist but hey since it's a movie so everything can happen.

Following the romance of these 2 humans where the woman is in Jakarta, Indonesia while the man is in Paris, France the long-distance relationship lasting for 15 freaking years and here the insecurity comes out. The big question of When are you getting married? Why aren't you getting marry? blablabla is really annoying. At the end this movie showing more mature sides of this lovely couple which we seldom find in a real life. The acting is not bad, the scenery is still in Paris, while the story is ok.

My condolence for one of the senior actor who died before he could act on the sequel.

Another failed attempt of a sequel.

We know that oftentimes a sequel does not live up to the first film for so many reasons, specifically the plot. This movie is included. "Eiffel I'm In Love" is undoubtedly one of the iconic movies of all times in Indonesia, but trying to preserve Tita's and Adit's adolescent characteristics when they are not even in their mid-twenties anymore is just complete nonsense, if not an atrocious behaviour of oneself. I get the nostalgic sentiment, I am myself adore the first film, but the production crew should never forget about "character development" when they are making a continuation of something.

To sum up, this movie normalizes possessive household, as well as romanticizing childish & possessive relationship. I'm giving 3 out of 10 ratings merely for the tone of the overall cinematography.
