Made am impression on me rhat it was concatenation of two not very decent tv to have something of cinema movie. Anyway, disapointing . My daughter (age 4) said she didn't like (when it was till running) and wanted to leave cinema which is uncommon for her.

The worst movie ever from 2018
arielsiere16 June 2022
First we got the first back in 2016, then we got this unnecesary sequel from 2018 that movie is not funny and entertaining i think that 101 Dalmatians, The Sword In The Stone, The Jungle Book, The Aristocats, Robin Hood, The Many Adventures Of Winnie The Pooh, The Rescuers, The Fox And The Hound, The Black Cauldron, The Great Mouse Detective and Oliver And Company are also better.

How could it be even worse.
Nomad00711 June 2019
The first movie was horrible. Not even scoring a 4 out of 10. This "sequel" is by far even worse. At least the first one had some B-list (these days) actors in it. This sequel has no one in it. How is it even possible anyone got the green light to make this, let alone funding. Literally one of the worst movies ever made is "The Telephone" staring Whoopi Goldberg for 90 minutes talking in the telephone on her apartment. Seriously check it out. I would rather watch that on an endless look then watch five minutes of the movie. If you have kids spare them.

Worst Film of 2019
comicnerd-228089 January 2020
2016's Norm of the North is a film that never EVER needed a sequel, it was a pile of garbage that every film critic on the internet knew and hated, so why, WHY? Make a sequel?!

Terribly awful!
michael-medure30 July 2019
The worst animated movie I've ever seen! Seriously painfully bad! I couldn't let my kids watch it all because it was so bad I couldn't take it another minute. Shameful! My six year old could write a more cohesive story than this garbage!

Warning: Spoilers
I used to go through life thinking that people were inherently good then i watched this movie and i realized how wrong i was. I've been to the therapist 26 times since i watched this move and i still cant get the memory of it out of my head.My wife left because of how much this movie has impacted me psychologically.I would honestly rather be waterboarded while be electrocuted then to watch this movie again.

It's pretty much what you'd expect.
Galop_Inferno16 January 2019
After witnessing what was (at the time) the worst reviewed wide release animated movie, Norm of the North, I figured that the studio wouldn't be crazy enough to make a sequel. Then I noticed the influx of Alpha and Omega DTV sequels, and I was wrong. Sorely, sadly wrong.

Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom is actually the TWO sequels Splash Entertainment put into production, hence the 91-minute runtime. The film itself doesn't even warn you that you're getting another story; it wraps up Keys to the Kingdom in about 45 minutes, and then shifts into The Arctic All-Stars with no hesitation.

Next to none of the original voice cast return for these cheap knock-offs, minus the young actress who portrays Olympia. Best guess is that she didn't have anything else to do. Andrew Toth is no Rob Schneider, and there is so much cringe just not hearing that voice in Norm's performance. The humor remains the same; toilet jokes, farts, just general juvenile stupidity. But, hey, it's a kids' movie. Who am I to judge? I'm a guy in his mid-20s who loves cartoons, even the bad ones.

However, this isn't just bad. It's more painful to sit through than the first one, if that were even possible. Save your money. Save your time. Don't do it. 0.5/5.

What did I just watch? It was like 2 separate movies and Lionsgate just hoped no one would notice that were spliced together.

Honestly people need to chill. its not suposed be a oscar movie or a mega prod.

its suposed be funny, enjoyable and nice. and it is.

its a family movie, the scenario is better than in avengers, and its original.

Definitely a good movie to watch to stress relieve
God_is_with_us21 May 2019
This film is definitely a movie worth watching. If you want to relax and have a decent movie to help you relax and destress, this movie will help. It's very interactive and extremely comical. It even has a good amount of philosophy.

Worth Watching!

Who thought this was a good idea?
jeremycrimsonfox15 January 2019
Warning: Spoilers
No, seriously, who in Lionsgate thought it was a good idea to take one of the worst movies in 2016 and give it a sequel? Anyway, this sequel is disappointing, as the plot is basically nothing more than taking some cliché plots and combining it into one movie (mainly, the cliché of framing the main character for their crime, and the cliché of playing a sport to decide the fate of something). Also, the jokes are not funny and the characters are uninteresting. Whoever thought a Norm of the North sequel was a good idea to milk money off parents should be fired and blacklisted from working in movies.

Just one word

Awful, 100% awful. I can't stress enough how much I hated this movie. Hell, I'm writing this as it plays in my living room. My wife and I are miserable watching it and my kids are bored of it. Rented it from redbox and need to return it ASAP. Owning this movie would be the biggest mistake in my life......

Out of all the decisions you've done in animation, Lionsgate... A Norm of the North sequel?
jayridders30 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Lionsgate, you've done petty decisions with animation before. Make 7 unnecessary Alpha and Omega sequels when one was good enough, fund production for Santa, Inc., take over all the Rock Dog sequels from Summit even though I've never seen them, "I have the whole world tussy," but this... This is one of your worst decisions you have ever done in your company's history! After Norm of the North failed at the box office despite the (wasted) talents of Bill Nighy, Ken Jeong and Rob Schnieder, you decided to let bad films be bad films, right? WRONG! You got greedy, and decided to make a NOTM sequel? The animation is even worse than the first, and there's a bunch of laziness and plot holes all around! Norm's son is a recycled version of young Norm from the first movie, the design for Chinatown in the movie is so poor and highly offensive (it's just a generic city with Chinese lanterns hanging around), and some of the polar bears, when standing on all four but still grabbing things with their forepaws, don't have thumbs! No freakin' THUMBS! And what about the plot holes? Don't get me started. Fong is the world's richest anthro rabbit who runs the Bank of Chinatown, and he's the only animal other than Norm and his son that every other human understands? What the hack, LG? And what about Jim the seal? All the other seals in the NOTM movies can't speak, but Jim CAN?! And why let animals announce the hockey game if no one's gonna understand them? What about that old lady Norm just met after arriving in New York and why he suddenly cares for her like she's a long-known family friend? Did you drug the writers for this movie, Lionsgate? The only good thing I like about this movie is Rob Schneider not returning for this movie, because his career was already going under. It's not just Schneider I'm happy to see go from this movie, but Bill Nighy of Love, Actually and The Magic Roundabout (not Weinstein's HORRIBLE edit) fame, too. If Nighy ever reprised his role as Socrates, not that he'd want to, he would've been lynched by the Lionsgate hate-base and his own fans. My point of advice, court-martial Lionsgate from the animation industry and never trust any animated, no, better than that, ANY movie with The Dove Foundation's "Family Approved" seal. Burn all copies of this movie at all costs! Make sure it never sees the eyes of future generations!

Entertaining for the kids that you can also enjoy with them.
joebujniewicz-8755616 May 2019
Norm of the North: Keys to the Kingdom is a fun animated family movie. It's not too overbearing but still entertains the children and is palatable enough that adults can watch as well. It may not be the Citizen Kane of animated Polar Bear films or end up on a criterion collection but it entertains and is enjoyable none the less.

Norm is back!
humzero23 July 2019
My Kids liked the original movie and were excited to see another Norm adventure. For a small independent movie, the quality of the animation is nice and the kids loved the story. Looking forward to more Norm of the North adventures!
