First things first the actor had terribly failed playing the character of NTR(the legend). The other actor played ANR is far better than him.
Everything shown in the film seemed to be over dramatized and had done nothing just elevated the protagonist from the very beginning to the last that's why I'll not call it as a biopic thats a melodrama.
Director did a pretty good job infact in making a good melodrama but a bit more homework would have made things better.
All the technical aspects in this movie are pretty fine.

This film is not a biopic but a praising event to Sr. Ntr.... Though everyone has a great respect to his work but still various scenes are not convincing,how can a not established person will get praises from every person without working with him?? They showed like every one are to be blessed to work with him....

A glorified depiction of a fake story...! Lot of effort has been made to portray NTR as a flawless human. It would have been refreshing to see the real story and flaws of the legendary actor. It is such a pity to see NTRs family faking all the affection towards him when I'm real life they had ditched him!!
Waiting for the second part to see if they have the guts to show the betrayal by his family more importantly CBNs backstabbing to grab the CM chair. It might be too much to ask, given the unspoken fact that this movie is made by the Nara-Nandamuri family to attract voters for the upcoming 2019 elections.

Balayya first half of the movie did not fit the role of Sr. Ntr at all infact I should say horrible. He was too fat and old for young ntr character. But he suited well as ntr after he turned 60. Climax of the movie is the best performance he ever gave. No negatives of ntr were shown but if you cannot relate to his old movies or donno the old stalwarts of Telugu film industry, you might not enjoy as much as I did. For those who relish his old movies, this movie is a feast. The screenplay was slow for this current generation. The film at every opportunity praises ntr which looks artificial.
Go with low expectations and you will enjoy the movie.Inspite of all its flaws, the movie is a good watch and is the best movie to watch during the festival season.

Balakrishna has created such a waste movie ! I'm a big fan of Jr. NTR and I strongly agree that Jr. NTR is the only person from this family. Who can make Sr. NTR proud. With his acting and dance skills.
I believe due to family disputes, then didn't gave Jr. NTR a role. They know he will take all the credit that's the reason they didn't.
Only RGV will deliver blockbuster HiT for legendary NTR .

It is difficult to write a review for a Diamond by any ordinary person. But based on few scenes, we can understand why NTR started Rs2 KG rice for poor and similarly giving utmost importance to education (helping poor and lower middle class).
I will give 90% credit to Krish and dialogue write. Remaining credit goes to all actors together especially NBK,Vidya Balan, Daggubati Raja, Sumanth and rest key people.
I also really appreciate Mandali Buddha prasad who acted in this movie very naturally.

Disastrous story and performance by giving role to a comedian is backstabbing to a legendary personality.
As we know NTR is a legendary personality both in film and political industry, but by giving a comedian to play his role is completely unacceptable.
Story and over action dialogue s ...no natural performance... Bull bull kind of performance made audience laugh the whole time. Most scenes shows Self dabba about few people rather than narrating an emotional film...!!!
I don't think a true story can be expected in second part NTR mahanayakudu...since they cannot show real story how current Andhra Pradesh Chief minister backstabbed for power and how his suffered by his own family.
We cannot expect better from family dabba story performers.
TOnly one cast may help survive this movie as balayya proud of his kula gajji...let's see.

Balayya lived in the role of his father. This is an epic movie which will be watched by even generations to come. JAI NTR!!!!
People who are commenting him with nicknames must have come from distorted drunkard families so we cannot expect more from them. Condolences to your family members to have raised people like you. If you cannot praise a person of his accomplishments, its better to keep quiet. Atleast he doesn't have eloping characterless daughters!!! :D

This movie could have been done much better and scripted well.. But noooooo.. they just want to boost up image.. NTR has done great thing as far as i heard.. But why this Over acting scripted.. NTR did not die on 1996.. he was brutally murdered with this movie in 2019.. RIP legendary actor NTR..

The movie literally shows bits of great NTR movies. What is the need to show 80% of that in the movie. I expected so much from "NTR" after watching the best biopic "Mahanati". Came out of the film with no emotion. They could have atleast done some research on how his real life was during different decades of acting career.
Good: Art Department, Cinematography
Bad: Balakrishna was just ok, Music and background were not Keeravani standard, Nothing about NTR lows during acting career, Screenplay and writing, NTR's wife sounds like 20 yr old voice.
