This was a great episode. But I can do without the obsequious pandering (redundant?) to the leftist theology of BLM for ratings and acceptance. I lived in that culture and was deeply involved in it.. so the story is really compelling.. though sketchy in the fact department regarding the truth in all this, but I get it (smoke, fire).. I lived it. I know that there has been abuse by authority (cops, et al) but this does not help with today's narrative. You threw them a bone, and proved this is all about ratings (which it is, "no bucks, no Buck Rogers". But I cringed. Great acting, actors and production. You lost a ratings point with your political narrative.. I'm sure plenty disagree, but that's my take. I hope the Antifa fascists don't force you to take this down. But nothing surprises me.

From a new binge watcher, this is one of the most powerful episodes

Jonathan Tucker, who I first saw in "The Black Donnellys" (and was excited to see him appear in this show), has some amazing lines in this episode that I won't spoil, but really exemplify the talent of this show's writers.

I've been a bit frustrated with the Teddy character and loved the callouts on him in this one.

The relationship between Franklin and his mom are really the heart and soul of this series so far IMO, and there are powerful scenes between them here.

In addition to that, we finally see more context of relationship between Melody and Franklin as well.

Some great plot movement in this episode as well.

Hands down one of the best shows on TV ATM

Coming a year late into this gem, I binged season one, saw some flaws but knew it had potential. Needless to say, this season I am at odds having to wait a week each week. Everything about the show has been elevated. Plot lines, acting, mood, depth. I feel like we could have another Breaking Bad level indulgence here. Well done to the creators.

DEATH IS INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE LIVING

ITS ABOUT TIME THESE BOYS START GROWING UP AND TIGHTENING UP BEFORE A LOT MORE MISTAKES AND STUPIDITY RUIN A GREAT BUSINESS. HOWEVER, BUSINESS AMONG GODS IS A RUTHLESS GAME OF STRATEGY AND POWER. UNLIKE THE RUDIMENTARY NATURE OF MOVES IN CHECKERS, CHESS, ON THE OTHER HAND REQUIRES FORETHOUGHT AND AFTERTHOUGHT WORKING TOGETHER TO ACHIEVE THE MOST DAMAGE TO AN OPPONENT.

AND YOU EITHER INFLICT RUTHLESS DAMAGE OR ACCEPT MUCH PAIN. BUT SOMETIMES THAT PAIN COMES WITH A HEAVY PRICE. SOMETIMES YOU MUST FORGOE VENGEANCE WHEN IT IS NOT BEST SERVED. YOU ARE NOT IGNORING YOUR NATURAL INCLINATION WHEN SUCH EMOTION IS OVERLOOKED; YOU ARE CONTROLLING YOUR MOVES AS A STRATEGY FOR GAINING A GREATER ADVANTAGE TO WIN.
