Trivia | Although First Signal takes place in 2014, at the 1:09:55 mark President Colton predicts the future when she states to President Tupolov, "You should continue pushing into Donbas." Which is followed by a conversation about NATO and sanctions, thus predicting the future of actual events when Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022. See more » |
Goofs | In the film, Major Sampson is wearing the garrison cap of male officers above her rank. Despite women having their own visor caps, the wrong cap was selected for this film. In the Air Force there were no clouds with lightning bolts on the visor of the headgear for majors. They began with two on each half of the visor for Lt. Colonels and Colonels. Three on each half were for flag officers. See more » |
