The Widow is simply..............awesome

Second favorite character after Sunny. Everything about her is a wonder to watch. Still dislike the wire-fu but whenever they incorporate real martial arts fighting; the show is top notch. That was a surprising death and a heartfelt one. SPOILERS: Initially Badjie was an irritating character and an unlikely fighter but he became more likable as Sunny's humorous sidekick. Sorry to see him go. Although he didn't yet draw his last breath............

Into the Badlands stands tall with one of the season's best episodes, incredible fight choreography

After a disappointing second half of the season we get an episode that brings back memories of what was great with the other seasons and it is great storytelling and more natural and serious fight sequences. Widow versus Chau was a fight I've wanted to see for the whole season and it didn't disappoint. Both actresses are just amazing and I've to say both of them shined immensely in this episode. There were not a single bad moment in this episode, only suspenseful moments and great drama. This episode has what the show is about, bad decisions makes unpredictable consequences, superb television.

The ensemble cast stands tall, giving incredible performances and Emily Beecham steals the spotlight every chance she gets, I can't wait to see what she does next after this show have come to its end.

I really love this show and this episode was specially entertaining. Watching this one made me aware of a completely new kind of Badlands magic. If you watch the fight the widow fights in the mansion keep an eye on her feet. You will see her stiletto heels morph into flats, then morph back into stilettos then back into flats again. The morphing continues at the top of the stairs. I always wondered how she and her girls managed such acrobatic martial arts wearing stiletto heels and now I know... 😀

So freaking entertaining!

I've watched this through 3 times already because I just love the plot, setting, storyline and action. A few episodes back the 2 barrons had a huge battlefield war and it was one of the most amazing displays of violence and fighting I've ever seen in a t.v. show it was up there with 300! Serioulsy I wont ruin it but that black dude the window recruited is a serious badass he took out about 20 dude single handed, no help. Since I've seen that the episodes that follow just seem dim BUT since they have to try and top that or even make it even I know a lot of crazy beautiful violence is due for the future. I am kinda frustrated seeing the best fighter the bad lands has ever seen getting his ass kicked over and over though. I am hoping they are doing this to show that he is being run by his anger and confusion. So at some point he will snap out of it and stop the bleeding so to speak. Sunny has to be able to go black? Idk for sure but if he has that power its seems it's the only way they will win. I am literally praying that the writers were smart enough to make this wish a reality. Also I am a huge blade collector and the ones you see on this show are just amazing! If u havent watched this yet do yourself a favor and binge away.
