Amazing scene where Johnny explains his side of events regarding LaRusso, highlighting how perspective is truly everything. Great acting and well developed storyline.

Molting the old self into the new is the best so far of the Cobra Kai series. Johnny who can be a jerk sometimes shows that hard love works. Berating, and being hard aka Marine Corps style for training to strengthen body, mind, and spirit is displayed as working. Readying the troops for the Karate tournament and making Cobra Kai into a tribe we see John's work evolving. The viewer learns that Johnny needs the students as much as the outcasts need their Sensei. Many students quit but others transform. One transforms from the lip into the Hawk and will not be a victim anymore. Johnny's cleaning himself up and is showing a genital side which John learns from the students. John needs the softer side balance to be not such a jerk . Danial is training, with out knowing, Johnny's son who needs the balance, and peace to control the protege's rage. Not just making a better student, but a better person. The viewer see's the pros and cons the different schools of Karate. What's with this new Karate move!?!
