Nice adventure movie set in Southern Brazilian "Federalist Revolution" civil war and with references to mystic folklore and gaucho tradition. With beautiful landscapes, vicious personal revenges, several trackings and chases, ugly dirty faces and brim hats, quick draw, shootings, beheadings and other violent deaths, it is much closer to Western genre than to war movies. Costume design also deserves to be praised.
