What if a young Daniel found the new Cobra Kai? Daniel if having the money would have joined. The misfits, outcasts, bullied flock to Cobra Kai after a video of fighting against bullies is posted. Johnny looks like a hero in Quiver. Mean while, Johnny's delinquent son is joining Daniel's auto group to get revenge on the absentee Johnny who had to suffer under a questionable mother. One's see the family drama of Daniel family run business. Daniel's family stresses in a Italian American family style, probably influence by the Sopranos use of personal family problems, which make the episode real. We see Daniel being drawn back to Karate, and the philosophy of balance, which Daniel needs more everyday. Decent episode. 7 out of 10 stars.

Say what you want, but that's one badass Mohawk. Good storyline development and interesting to see LaRusso bonding with Johnny's son. Decent acting, could do without all the high school tropes.

When the video of Miguel beating up the school bullies goes viral. People start lining up to take karate lessons from Cobra Kai.

The question for Johnny is. Can he deal with this this ragtag of misfits and losers. Initially he has problems.

The episode has flashbacks of young Johnny in 1979 when he comes across Kreese teaching a karate class. Young Johnny was a misfit then.

Johnny's son Robbie put out that his dad would rather be with Miguel, gets a job in Daniel's car lot. He is enthusiastic but Daniel's cousins keep pulling some pranks on him.

However the episode sees Daniel telling Robbie of his philosophy for karate.

This episode teases that Daniel could be the father figure for Robbie that his own father never could. It is a clever twist.
