Sex & Nudity

- Maud implies that she can feel God, with obvious sexual connotations, when she does something pleasing to Him.
- Maud spies on Amanda and Carol through a doorway as they kiss on the bed. Some kissing and suggestive body language.
- Maud takes a shower and her butt is visible for a second
- No graphic nudity but some uncomfortable sexual discussion and situations.
- Maud has sex with a man, freaks out during, then wants to stop but he continues despite her protesting at first.
Violence & Gore

- Maud pushes thumb tacks through a religious card and inserts the card into her shoes so that when she put on her shoes she stands on the tacks. She then walks around town wincing in pain.
- Maud slaps Amanda after being insulted
- Maud places her hand on the stove and burns herself.

Sex & Nudity
- Maud bumps into a man at the pub before they are briefly seen having sex on a bed together. The scene becomes intense as Maud begins to vision things, and she screams in terror and jumps out of the bed.
Violence & Gore
- There are scenes of violence throughout, including a scene in which a woman stabs another with a pair of scissors. Extremely shocking and unexpected.
- A scene where a woman is bashed over the head and stabbed. Some blood splatter on the attacker.
- Maud places tacks in her shoes and lowers herself onto them. She screams and her face contorts.
- Maud purposefully burns her arm briefly on a hot stove.
- Maud punches Amanda in the face during Amanda's birthday party. We only see a small amount of blood, which is dripping from Amanda's nose.
- Maud has flashes of her previous trauma where it is revealed she crushed a patients ribcage while administering CPR. We see her pushing on the chest of both the patient. Eventually she pushes so hard that her hand sink into the chest. The man spits blood and she screams.
- Maud walks along the beach and pours flammable liquid over herself before setting her self alight. This is intense as bystanders are heard calling for her to stop but are then seen falling to their knees as Maud appears like an angel. A sharp edit then shows the reality of Maud screaming and surrounded by flames.
- Maud grabs a pair of scissors and swiftly stabs another women
- After Maud burns her hand, there is a scene where she picks off the scab on the healing burn; potentially triggering for self harm

- A woman with terminal cancer is seen smoking cigarettes and drinking throughout.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The film also contains a scene in which an unknown woman lies dead on a bed with a big knife sticking out of her neck and blood dribbling down. Other scenes include one of ecstasy as the protagonist believes she has been visited by God. She is seen writhing about and foaming at the mouth and then is lifted up into the air, her back arched and her hair falling backwards.
- Maud experiences flashbacks of trauma.
- Amanda's face suddenly contorts into a demonic figure. She leaps out of bed and viciously mocks the protagonist. This is the biggest jump scare of the film and is towards the end of the picture.
- A woman hallucinates that she is talking with the voice of God. The voice is distorted and creepy and it is implied that the woman will murder a friend who visits her later in the scene, but this does not happen.
- Maud has a biblical hallucination in a bar whereby the drink in her glass becomes a whirlpool. This terrifies the woman as she believes God is condemning her.
