In reading some of the reviews it made me Wonder if we saw the same flick! To actually review the movie I'd say the only real fault was the music was a bit much , but , in terms of accuracy,(something a documentary ought to have, yes!?) It was spot on. I thought it well edited and that it progressed rather nicely given the rather technically sophisticated info it was presenting. Most reviews that didn't care for the movie didn't bother countering any info presented, they just didn't like the message...

I'm not American but I was very familiar with the entire Brexit process. I've checked up many of the facts in this and pretty much everything they are reporting is in the public domain if you search for it. Bizarre comments (obviously most of them from Americans) here. Exactly the demography of the people targeted. Poorly educated exposed to one or two news sources, who will believe what they are told as opposed to what they can actually find out themselves with a few clicks.

Pretty depressing really. If even half of this is true the negative reviews prove the whole point of the documentary. The rest of the world is watching the USA right now and it's ugly viewing.

Interesting story telling though, if you remind yourself, it's just that. Stories.

Facts are not opinions. They do not have a leftist, conservative, Democrat or Republican bias. This documentary is not FAKE NEWS. It's unfortunate that far too many Americans lack the ability to understand that money has corrupted the system and is now corrupting their ability to decipher the difference between truth and b.s.. Democrats are not your enemies. We are all Americans who wish for our country to provide a safe and wonderful life for our loved ones to prosper in. Please don't rate a documentary if you are already determined to hate what it is you are watching.

WORST 70 minutes of my life! I was aware that the left controlled main stream Fake hollywood (case n point, we seem to have an over abundance of socalled environmental issue movies in the past year) but I was hoping for something a little more from docwood. that said, this was nothing but the dissemination of propaganda as a political tool for the left! Do your self a favor and bypass this biased and misleading film.

Stupidity makes me angry. It's infiltrated american democracy's top office and it's corrupting down to the every day man. It makes me nauseous to know people were dumb enough to fall for all these active measures. These stories were shared on my newsfeed three times a day for months during the run up to the election. I'd hate to think that america is responsible for this, of course russia has spread misinformation during elections for decades all across europe.

I couldn't believe my eyes and ears when I saw this documentary a few months ago. Was I looking at an episode of House of Cards? No, Trumping Democracy seemed pretty logical. And frightning. The thought provoken statements of Trump are only a small part of this documentary. We know that he is saying whatever he thinks is the truth. An that those remarks mostly are no facts if you use the normal definition of a fact. But the part about the manipulation of the election is really interesting. It's an example of using big data in the worst way, in a evil way. I thought we couldn't do this, but I underestimated that. In the last weeks - we're talking march 2018 - it is becoming more and more clear how true this documentary is. Journalist from different countries reveal the results of their investigations and it is horrible. This documentary is no conspiracy, no propaganda, no bashing. Robert Mercer and Steve Bannon deliberately gathered information for different purposes than stated, from people who couldn't be aware of it and used dark posts with manipulated information to influence individual voting behaviour. The role of Facebook is under discussion. OMG. Compliments for the makers of this documentary. It takes not only kowledge but also a lot of courage to publish this!

It could have been an ultra conservative global mega conspiracy, probably involving Putin but definitely involving secret mind control techniques honed to make the British people loose their collective minds and vote to leave the EU.

But then again it was probably just that Trump only had Crocked Hillary to beat.

Nothing here we didn't already know a year ago but very well done nonetheless.

Their hypothesis has been tested. All these facts have been checked by diverse sources. Anyone who lives in those swing states knows the election was rigged. We experience it directly so this is empirical evidence.

A must watch documentary, Cambrige Analytica exposed months before mainstream news.

I watched this last year, have returned to review it in light of the "Breaking news" about Facebook and Cambridge Analytica. I was shocked by how few views and reviews on IMDB, It would seem that a low percentage of reviews and ratings are from thinking people. The rest must be Cambridge Analytica employees or Americans that can't admit how they were duped. Big business and computer algorithms controlling Governments, Media and the public's every thought. There is a good review of this film and it's implications (with spoilers) on Huffington post. WATCH THIS FILM IF YOU VALUE FREEDOM, FREE WILL AND PRIVACY. It also helps explain the Brexit referendum outcome. I must end here, lots to do. I have to register for a VPN, delete my online presence and buy tin foil to put in my hat.

Kill Strike is a proper documentary...

This had a few data points but the stretch, hyperbole and assumptions filling the gaps make this an editorial not a documentary. To discredit, label and dehumanize everyone who has different views and conclusions than you rather than civil discourse is insecure and divisive, showing you are not confidentand humble about your knowledge. Thus ended with such broad sweeping condescension. There are some willfully ignorant folks... that may change tomorrow but rather that than be a judgemental prick... that can change as well which would be great. Hate is hate. Don't be a hater. Consider dicussion and respect rather than hate, categorizing and emotional rhetoric, like this video incites. Data has it's place and no doubt both sides took advantage of data as much as possible. Every business does or sinks. But to say the only explaination for 2016 is one data company is to not undertand the bredth, scale and myriad reasons this happened. For further understanding, watch Kill Strike. Much more of a documentary showing more than one side with more demonstrative proof.

Sure, the documentary has an obviously biased tone; it doesn't try to hide it. However, it pales in comparison to the supposedly 'moderate' Conservative documentaries on the same subject. They use actual facts, statistics, and interviews to make their point. Ultimately it was people like the late Paul Horner who got rich off the anxiety and gullibility of the American Right. These reactionaries are utterly convinced that they are underdogs fighting a righteous and epistemically rational fight. The truth is that the American Right has been hijacked by radicals. They have corrupted their ideals and made the people paranoid and easy to manipulate by convincing them their are enemies around every corner. All trying to take their jobs, their freedom, their safety, and their liberty. They are scared of rich people like Soro's getting involved in politics, but praise people like Mercer, Murdoch, and the Koch's brothers. They are conditioned to hate the poor, worship the rich (as long as they perpetuate there designated political agenda), and above all else, despise and distrust the Left.

A faction quietly mapped its way to power, managing to influence the race without the citizens being aware. Accurate, Factual, Scary

Mostly factual meaning contains facts, not fantasy, which deluded Trumpsters will claim. Reveals the fact that Trump is connected to Putin financially and the US indirectly through Trump. Money talks which even the deluded admit. This film is a US wake up call. We declared the cold war was over but unfortunately Putin didn't get the memo.

Anyone interested in how Facebook and Cambridge Analytica worked together with the Trump Campaign needs to see this movie. It is amazing what money can do to impact public opinion and election results. The movie also shows that this was the Facebook business model, not an accident.

For all the Trump supporters (AKAthe fake people claiming not to be American etc. And still bashing the movie) You can lie all you want but cant deny the facts of this film, backed with actual evidence. This is all true and has even come out in special hearings. There are other films that touch on this as well. Watch The Great Hack on Netflix. Or just do some research on Cambridge Analytica etc. All the facts are out there.

Eye opening - and frightening - expose on manipulating elections through the use of such tools as big data, voter personality profiles, fake news stories, and targeted advertising on social media. In this instance, on how Robert Mercer used the likes of Steve Bannon and Cambridge Analytica to get Donald Trump elected in 2016. Apart from whom they backed, and how much they actually affected the election, the fact that anyone is using - and is able to use - these methods against us is truly horrifying. In my opinion, this is a good watch for anyone.

I think the movie is excellent example of manipulation, a mix of facts and wrong statements I didn't get, what were the lies from Trump here. And manipulating people...it isn't what all politicians and TV do, just Trump did it better. Let's see, more than 90% of mainstream media was negative to Trump by Harvard. This documentary is a bunch of crock. First, I did not vote for Trump because of the stupid lies that is written on the internet. If I can't believe what is put on TV why should I believe what is put on social media, really do these Journalist think that the majority of people voted for him because of the lies they create? I voted for him because of what he said about creating jobs, building the wall, sending illegals back and to come in the legal way, and MAGA. Did any body noticed that the people they are interviewing on this documentary were Bernie Sanders supporters. One had a doll of Bernie and the other had a sign of Bernie, I watched a quarter of this stupid documentary and it was not worth my time.
