- Dr. Claire Browne: You have a surgery now?
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: No. Um, I'm here to see how I can help.
- Carly: The Chief of Surgery joining the search party? Should I take a selfie, show my friends that this really happened?
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: This is a team problem. It should be a team solution.
- Carly: How do you get a boss like this?
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: I had a very good day today.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: Yes, you did. That was a hell of an operation.
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: Yes. And I caught Claire flirting.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: With you? Shaun, I think you might be misreading...
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: With Dr. Melendez.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: Ah, Dr. Melendez.
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: I conducted observations, successfully interpreted them, and logged them.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: Romance in a spreadsheet. I love it.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: I can't always be there. I can't always help you the way you need to be helped. The way you deserve to be helped.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: She has a master's degree in sociology, impeccable credentials, excellent references, and you turned her away because her clothes didn't match?
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: It's relevant. If a life skills coach can't select a complimenting wardrobe, they lack life skills.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: Well, she's not gonna pick out your clothes for you. She's not a nanny. She's there to help you with problem solving; financial, social interactions.
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: You're doing this because I did not react well to a man with a gun robbing a store I was in. Statistically, that is very unlikely to ever happen to me again.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: Social interactions will happen again and again and again. It's statistically irrefutable. And if you learn how to get along with people a little bit better, you'll have a fuller life. A happier life. If you don't like this woman, we'll find somebody else.
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: I am happy.
- Dr. Aaron Glassman: You could be happier.
- Dr. Shaun Murphy: I don't think so.
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: Nice touch.
- Dr. Isabel Barnes: Beauty increases happiness. Happiness improves outlook.
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: Still on Mission Carpe Diem.
- Dr. Isabel Barnes: Yeah, you might want to try it.
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: I'm doing fine.
- Dr. Isabel Barnes: We're having dinner at the sink.
- Dr. Marcus Andrews: No, we're enjoying dinner at the sink.
