- two girls who have been in the grip of the hangman have awful wounds on their neck. one has red sores with pus and the other's is worse, it's black and bruised and she has black pulsing veins in her neck. it gets angrier as the movie goes on
- the protagonist has her fingers slammed in a closet door by the ghost of the hangman. we later see they're severely bruised.
- the protagonist's sister stabs herself in the finger whilst sewing. blood is shown
- a girl is shown via webcam attempting to commit suicide by hanging. she is talked down by the protagonist. a short while later she goes to hang herself again and is caught up by the hangman who throws her against the camera.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- the opening sequence features teens playing the charlie charlie challenge. this leads into 2 boys being hung on their garden swing set by an unseen force
- the hangman appears very suddenly throughout the film at random times. very jumpy
- the ending is shocking and upsetting. the protagonist is hanged in a gallows. the twist will probably anger most watchers.
- the protagonist's sister follows a rope that's been left by an unknown source to find her dog tied up hanging from a tree. really upsetting scene
