Violence of the lambs
Rectangular_businessman9 February 2024
Warning: Spoilers
Well, that ending surely was unpexpected, to say the least.

At first glance, "Oh Sheep!" might seem as the typical black comedy cartoon about cute animals dying violently, in the same vein of stuff like Happy Tree Friends (Though nowhere as tasteless as that series)

But it also can be seen as a tale about what unites and separates people, leading them ultimately to their own destruction: At first, the sheep were somewhat united by a common struggle, while at the end they only focus in what makes them different from each other, starting to fight to death, much to the dismay of the shepherds.

A bit dark, but also amusing.

And despite the violence, the short does not indulge in gore more than the necessary, keeping a light-hearted feel instead of the gratuitous sadism of stuff like Happy Tree Friends.

poor shepheards !

A special short animation. For story and for the texture of fleece, for shepheards and their beards, for the bloody... humor. And for the end. Not comfortable but almost fascinating. For details and for admirable craft. And for the moral about old problem of difference at different level.

Gore & Violence

Warning: Spoilers
This is one of the worst things I have ever seen. 13+? More like 1300+ because no one should ever have to see this. Viewers be warned: this isn't cute, it's violent, disgusting and unnecessary. Do NOT recommend.

Well, this was ... interesting. None of us knew exactly what to think about this short film. On one hand, the animation and artwork and sound design were all on point, but the trajectory of the storyline was perplexing and disturbing. If I recommend this to any of my friends, it will be along the lines of "You won't believe what they did in this video!" and not for other qualities I might normally make recommendations on. When all is said and done, though, I did learn that sheep are not that smart, so there's that.
