I knew Susan Bloom when she worked for me part-time in '93 and she asked me to be the voice of 'The Lake'. We worked with little children and she said ' just talk like you do when you are talking to the kids'. Ms. Bloom won a lot of awards for this mysterious, kind of malevolent movie, especially at The University of Texas where she was completing her film studies, and I wish she had gone on to do more. But she did get my name wrong in the credits! So it doesn't count as my 15 minutes of Greatness, Right? My favorite part while recording with Ms. Bloom was when I had to mimic 'weird Aunt Cordelia'. I've always been a natural mimic so I really had fun with that part. I think people should watch it once - don't try to analyze it - and then watch it again and again. Good Stuff.
