Heroes of Mandalore: Part II
lassegalsgaard30 January 2020
Let's get the shortcomings out of the way first. This episode started off on a rather corny and very predictible note with the return of certain characters that were thought to have been killed off. I also found the episode's scope a little small, taking the whole planet into consideration. However, outside of those shortcomings, I did think this was a rather exciting episodes. The opening of the final season has reminded me of the non-stop action that we would often see in "The Clone Wars," and the influence is quite clear this early on. We have truly gotten into the war elements of the series. We are starting to see the changes in a lot of characters, especially Sabine who has some issues with her anger, and I am excited to see if that will factor in to the rest of the series. Also, I hope that we see more of Mandalore, because this would feel pretty small if it was the end of that arc, which it probably is, but I will hold out hope that it isn't. The show was exciting, had a great hook, and ended on a note that I think most episode should end on: a hopeful one.

For Sabine and for Mandalore!

Really enjoyed this episode. Little late to the Rebels party but happy I arrived. I was waiting for the first two seasons to make Sabine a likeable character and finally end of season three and this plot line have definitely delivered. Her character development has been leaps and bounds in the past few episodes and I love the way this plot played out. Other main characters in the series take a back seat during Heros of mandalore. Big shout out to Tobias Menzies as Tiberius Saxon, his performance is exemplary as usual. Feels like they've raided hbo's Rome for actors to play Saxons which I am totally okay with

Sabine's Journey
A_Kind_Of_CineMagic22 October 2020
Mostly this acts as a climactic episode for Sabine's character arc. She faces the desperation of her family's peril, the conflict amongst her people, the quest to find a leader to unite them and the threat of the Empire and their minion Saxon.

It is a great episode for Sabine and has an involving storyline about the deadly weapon she invented.

There is plenty of great action and fun.

My rating: 8/10.

Part II

A solid end to this arc and a solid beginning of this season.

Sure, something relating to the rebellion would have been a solid way to kick off a series about rebels, but I think the writers made good use of this arc. I once again enjoyed Sabine's character, and her growth here is nicely done. I've liked just about everything in Star Wars relating to Mandalorians and this is no exception.

Some corny dialogue is far outshines by good action, good character moments, a sense of urgency, and a pretty fitting ending!

Also, having seen both seasons of Disney+'s Mandalorian show, Bo-Katan's arc in that show makes a bit more sense now.

Good stuff.

Still keeping the childish tone
paradamed19 October 2017
This TV show has been characterized by constant high and low moments. This episode seems to be keeping the show at its lowest.

Not a clever episode, simplistic script and very boring, unimaginative and predictable conclusion.

Just check for yourselves. The end of the episode was something to be expected from a scoobydoo episode, childish and awful.

I hope next episode is better.
