Wrong diagnosis ruins this whole movie.

As someone who has lived with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) for over 30 years, I can tell you that this film has no clue about the condition and doesn't reflect what it's like to suffer from it in the slightest way.

If you're curious to know what it's like for people with BPD, this movie won't give you any understanding of it at all, and make you think it's something completely different and unrelated to what it is. To make it clearer to explain, this movie is the equivilent of telling you depression is caused by the sound of dogs barking and you will take that info with you and try to avoid hearing dogs bark to avoid getting depressed.... Yes, this movies interpretation of BPD is that stupid and 0% on the mark!

It's not portrayed even close to anything related to the mental condition at all and should be avoided if you're curious to watch it to understand people with BPD. You will learn nothing, and be given 100% inaccurate info, and you will understand nothing at all but unrelated issues.

No a strong storyline

The film wants to show some therapeutic moments for a mental disorder. But it doesn't show any clue or characteristics for Border line disorder patient. Also the therapist has her own illusionary problem!!!!

Not Accurate, Confusing Movie

This movie was one of the worst I've seen in a while. It was extremely confusing and did not reflect what a person with Borderline Personality Disorder goes through at all. Part of what makes it so confusing is how hard it is to tell what part is actually happening and what part is in going on in her head.

Her diagnosis was also never confirmed by the new therapist. The main character just expressed her disdain for her previous therapist that diagnosed her with BPD and she didn't even seem to know what that meant. The movie also didn't show how any progress was made with helping the main character or explain what "Gestalt Therapy is", which is in the movie description.

The audio was very strange, cutting out randomly as if someone cut the audio all of a sudden and then played a different part. It was very poorly made and the subtitles are incorrect many times.

Amazing Psychological thriller

This is an unusual film. It invites you into the leading character's life powerfully and sometimes disturbingly. The beautiful choices of music have a lot to do with the director's success in carrying the atmosphere & mood across the entire film. I have enjoyed the acting and the complex territory it is exploring.

Amazing movie: must watch

Every now and then there comes a movie which startles you, amazes you, makes you wonder at the depth of talent in this world. Makes you believe that there are still good story tellers out there, directors who believe in the subject and actors who delivery such powerful performances that they stop being themselves and morph into the characters they are playing. Meeting is one such movie. Brilliant acting, powerful direction and a very gripping and touching story. We can certainly do with more such movies like this one, and certainly more movies from this crew. Must watch.

For whomever is keen on psychological thrillers!

Firstly, it is exciting all the way through. The script is perfect. It is one of the rare examples of psycholigical thrillers. Without exploitation of media (nudity, etc) it succeeds to keep the audience at the edge of their seats. The music, especially Koridor by Sebnem Ferah is amazing! Koridor wasnt perhaps the greatest hit when it came out in Turkey but with the ending of this film it definetely sounds like one! Not to underestimate other music as they all fit perfectly to each and every scene. Therefore it is pretty clear that music was carefully considered for each scene. It is a subtle yet thorough reflection of the complexity of human nature and psychology. Well done!

Superb thriller

Very interesting and thought provoking thriller. A must watch movie for endless entertainment. I liked performance of all the characters but perfomance for shipra as Julianne is really spectacular.

It is a very successful movie with its beautiful music. You will be left alone with yourself in thought-provoking scenes that will surround you. It should not be examined as a movie subject to borderline personality disorder.

Some found the movie technically insufficient. Maybe they're right. But Emre Sen, without a high budget but with a high cinematic language and a breathtaking script, tells a touching story in an unforgettable way. I loved the movie in that respect. The tremors that the scenes in which I could not control my tears left me with a bright hope at the end of the film. It is great that Emre Sen, whom I admire as a pianist, therapist and human, has also embraced the art of cinema! Congratulations and thank you wholeheartedly.

After watching the American made movies and shows, this is so far different in a positive way. Personalities, set up and acting are all great. It left a different pleasure.

Very exciting! The movie is both creepy and allows you to empathize with the characters. Most of us will go back to our childhoods while watching. Many developmental themes can be a source movie for psychology classes. The acting (especially Portia), editing and script are amazing. Don't want to spoil the movie with details ... It is a must see .... The whole movie is great ...

Unusual and thought provoking thriller.

Loved the choice of locations and beautiful music for this film. It was an unusual and thought provoking thriller which became more powerful as it built up its momentum.

My favourite performance in Meeting was the extremely intelligent and layered portrayal from Portia Booroff as Carol. She lit up the screen in all her scenes.

If you want to watch something unexpected and original this film definitely deserves a viewing ..
