Character change for the worse!

I'm really enjoying the series even if I'm late to the party and I think Tom Kirkman would make an impressive president. The one thing that's really annoying me is the change in character to his wife the First Lady Alex. In the first season she was kind , intelligent and a fair and reasonable mind at the presidents side understanding he had a hard job however this season with the addition of the drama with her mother she's turned into an irrational and emotional liability. Massive fall from grace.

An Interesting Effort

This was remindful of MASH which used to interrupt their general plots with a new twist. Here, the President chooses three letters from the thousands he receives and send members of his staff out to investigate the information contained therein. What I liked about these is that the solutions were not at all simple. The beekeeping one was a bit silly, but it was still a departure. I'm also really tired of the President's wife and her whining.

During the review of Sergeant Goff's actions a Corporal Mankowitz is mentioned as a member of his unit. A picture of Goff shows him to be a member of the US Army's 3rd Special Forces Group, the minimum rank for any Special forces unit in the US Army is E-5 (three stripe Sergeant).
