A 90-minute movie in 21 minutes

This well-paced romantic comedy takes place at a wedding reception. We meet Paul, a quiet and somewhat shy man who carries an exceptionally heavy emotional burden on this day. Into his little corner, where he sits alone, comes Jess who is funny, outgoing and somebody who presses the limits of his comfort zone. The movie is paced beautifully, with enough speed to prevent boredom, but with pauses to raise the tension level and to avoid a pace that lets emotions pass by unnoticed. By the end, you will know these characters intimately and understand where they come from and where they are going. I enjoyed that they left the ending, open-ended, to play out in your own mind without giving you all the answers Well-written, well-acted and well directed. This would make an awesome stage play for summer theater. Easy to watch over and over. You'll find that the smiles come with every viewing.

For me , it is one of the most inspired romantic short films. Two strangers talking-flirting in a night, at a wedding. Confessions, common experiences and interests, stories and the last touch. Amusing, touching and delicate film about a sort of special loneliness and friendship. It is difficult to say why it is real seductive. For smart dialogues, for performances, for the echo in our experiences or, maybe first, for the indie film status. Important, in my case, it represents one of more expecting films.
