Warning: Spoilers
Toby Dye's Phobos is a 9-minute live action short film from 2017 that is really closely connected to Ridley Scott's "Alien: Covenant" of course, which means you will find many familiar names and characters from the movie in here. It is basically a trial interrogation sequence to see how certain people would react in certain situations. It all starts fairly harmless, but becomes worse eventually without being tragic or heartbreaking or anything, but this little short was a nice psychological study in my opinion and may serve well as an appetizer to watch the movie this is about, even if 99% of the people probably watch the movie first, which makes sense as they need to buy the DVD to see this short. So yeah, thumbs-up for Fassbender, McBride, the stunning tess Haubrich and everybody else who worked on this. As the genre is not really my favorite and I don't have much of a connection to the Alien film(s), i was surprised how much i liked it. Go check it out.
