It has potential

This movie is one of my least favorites. It was a little slow for me. The jump scares we're okay, has a good plot but the anticipation working up to the plot was a little slow. I'm going to watch it again to see if I can get a different prospective but 6.7/10 overall. Good job guys!

I enjoy the effort put into it to make a horror movie. It was finished and the cast were good at projecting their characters. I enjoy the end at 49:58, after they talk a bit, and Blake says "For the record I'm saving you"

Holds a Special place in my heart

I watched this for the first time on movie monday. I had no idea where it was going. I love that. I love the small details like the phone number and the animal masks- they're kind of weird but make it spookier to watch. The beginning when they first got to the house and there was the first scare was probably the biggest gasp I've let out watching one of your movies. This movie made me so angry the whole time but I still will hold a place in my heart for it because of movie mondays.

Don't be fooled by the high ratings!!!

I love indie films and always give them tons of leeway considering everything involved in the making of a film. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY UTTERLY FALSE HIGH RATINGS!!!!! The 5 that gave such high ratings obviously were paid or involved in this film. It was the longest 50 odd minutes of my life!!! Do yourself a favor and run away from this film. It's not even worth talking about the plot or actors!!!!!

Slow for me

I want to really like this movie but the reason why it wasn't for me is because it was very slow for me. I enjoy movies that get to the point but it only got good towards the end. The acting was ok. Everything else was good but hey I'm sure people will like it. I always like supporting indie horror films.

Fun Watch for Indie Horror Film Fans

It's a fun watch if you go in with realistic expectations. Not necessarily the best I've watched but it's obvious this indie film was created on a MicroBudget.

Truth be told I enjoy these films more than the multi-million dollar blockbusters that are soulless cash crabs.

The Invited is a really good indie film, you can't sit here and judge the movie like you judge mainstream horror films. I love cult type films and this one is good. I wish there was a bit more backstory but overall you should definitely check it out and you'd be helping an indie company.

This is another film I absolutely loved by DBS films!! It has many amazing plot twists and once again they left you wondering what is going to happen next! I didn't realize one of the film makers was in this movie until I watched it about 3rd time. That's how much I didn't pay attention to a specific scene in this movie. I really enjoyed the many different jump scares that were in this movie and again I love jump scares in any horror movie. Through out the whole movie I was really into it and I truly loved it!! Also, be careful who you meet because you never know who they really are until you actually get to know them! Yikes!!

A bit slow, but enjoyable

At first it was a bit slow for me. But as soon as Sarah invited curtis to the house for the first time, its started to pick up. I had questioned curtis a lot in this movie xD. I loved the "cult" aspect. It was like "Oh sarah seems harmless" but turns out, It's the exact opposite! I also liked the "happy ending"

If you are a DBS film fan then you are going to love this film. I recommend this. The story line was great. I give this a movie a shot as to watch. I really enjoyed this film. I was guessing the whole time. I had a lot of jumps. Those camera shots were amazing! You will not regret watching this film. They are always looking for something better and to scary us each time. I have seen this film a least 3 times and love it each time. Every time I watch it again I'm always learning something new that I had missed. I still get scared each time, even when I know it's going to happen still gets me each time.

This movie was so amazing the camera work was wonderful the scare factor was good made me jump a little. Great story line in the movie I loved it also it is one that everyone should watch.

I truly had a different hypothesis when the movie first began which ended up being totally wrong compared to the outcome. I believe that's what makes a great horror film or psychological thriller because you're not expecting the outcome in the end. The acting was well done, the psychological aspect was amazing, and I believe the plot was very well written. I definitely recommend this to others.

Twisted love

Honestly with this horror movie the captured a poor young man and tried to sacrifice him in a cult ritual. It's my third favorite movie from this group actors were amazing. The party scene was the best in my opinion. Must watch.

Loved this movie very enjoyable I love the cult typ movies and yall hit alot of the best parts from a film like this you have the main character going throw a bad patch and the night in shining armor and the big house we get all that in this movies but I wish there was move with the hangout seens like when they guys first get there and more with the chase seen at this end and I like the kinda twist at the end with the girl getting shot i liked that it came out great just wish more details was in it but not really need to got the plot across but I enjoyed this movie it had a nice ending that lefted me satisfied.

Great movie. It is great. It is An amazing movie from this industry. It had amazing jump scares. The actors were amazing and they did a phenomenal job. I love the scenery and all camera shots. I definitely recommend watching this movie. You will not regret it.

The overall plot in my opinion was really good. I myself love anything to do with cults and rituals. Had me captured the entirety and i cant wait to watch it a few more times with my friends. 11/10 recommend this film <3.

Great Movie!

I absolutely love this movie! The plot is great. My anxiety was high the entire time watching it. The scenery is beautiful. It is a very intense and suspenseful movie. I would watch it 100 times over. I love the middle and ending. My favorite part is when they trick you into thinking that Sandy is trying to help Curtis escape but in reality, it's a trick. I had to remind myself that it was just a movie because the acting was incredible. I love the very end! I would give this 20 stars but 10 is the limit. If anyone wants to watch a super suspenseful movie for movie night, that will keep them on their feet, this is the movie that I recommend. Highly recommend this movie to everyone!

Love Creepy Cult Films - This One Delivers

What is most creepy to me about cult films is how the group draws in the newest people. Things feel normal for a while then begin to get creepy. There is always a point that you feel they need to get away, but of course, they stay. You can't help but get emotionally charged when they make that critical mistake. This one was short but kept my attention with a satisfying ending. The main characters were very believable and their relationship seemed genuine. Sound and video were good quality which can sometimes be a problem in indie films. Happily, there were no problems here. Just good creepy fun.

The start of something great!

If you're a fan of DBS films, I recommend starting with this one! It's got a very interesting plot with a couple of twists. I really enjoyed the cult storyline and I'm excited to see what they do with this film in the future now that they have more experience! If you like indie films, definitely give this one a shot as well as their other ones.
