Good Production, Great Message

Awesome piece of filmmaking, right here! I'm impressed by what these high school students achieved--from acting, to editing, to technical work. They all should be extremely proud to be part of this project and those who continue to pursue a path in the film industry now have something solid to put on their résumés.

As for the film, itself--There is a good message to be found underneath the 'cool acting' and abundant movie references. I didn't expect to feel for the characters as much as I did, and by the end I was fully invested. There are a few characters memorable enough to warrant a sequel or an origin story, even. The film also has the potential to be the root of an "Exceptionals" series. Exceptionals, Assemble!

This film took almost eight months to make. The creators began making the movie in late September of 2016, and finished toward the end of March in 2017. The film was first released on May 11th, 2017 at the Stafford County Film Festival.
