"It comes from the heavens" It is a short film by the filmmaker Oldren Romero (A Tale with Christ and Jesus). He is one of the best exponents of current independent cinema. This time we are presented with a dysfunctional family with a situation unfortunately not so out of the ordinary and we could say that it is universal ... Angel, the protagonist loses his innocence at a very young age, which moves us all and when the mother makes the final decision, we all agree with the pain she feels. The film with great simplicity and economy of resources, transmits the crudeness of the situation and delves into our hearts to make us reflect thanks to the excellent script of its director. Through an excellent photograph, the narrative speech by Alexander González, a perfect montage of Daniel Diez Junior, the art direction of Juan Carlos Tavio and Anisleidys Boza guided by Maykel Martinez Gutierrez, the soundtrack of Raymel Casamayor and the adequate music from the great winners of GOYA José Antonio Leyva and Magda Rosa Galban. Finally, the relevant performances of Camila Arteche, Enrique Molina, Carlos Rafael Sánchez and the child Marlon Casas Porto, who faces the camera for the first time and catches us all with his suffering demonstrating great maturity by incorporating distant situations and feelings to your reality It was a success of the director to have worked with this great team of actors. The film has its own coherent discourse and invites us to take a critical look at violence and child abuse I believe that Oldren Romero is one of the best exponents of current cinema and shows us its potential. as creator and chronicler of his time ...
