GQ presents actor Robert Pattinson having a nervous breakdown while trying to leave his hotel room to buy hot dogs when he&#39;s hungry but can&#39;t leave because of
fans and paparazzi. It&#39;s a wild horror dramatic story that has some fun overtones and makes audiences think what celebrities have to go through in order to
fulfill simple acts we poor mortals do with ease. Pattinson&#39;s acting is great, going from true desperation to a more relaxed and almost funny mode when he
succeeds with his task. Here, he showcases plenty of abilities and acting skills just like he does in virtually all of his movies. Very fun to watch. 9/10.

I didn&#39;t see the Twilight Movies until this year. I guess all the talks of how stupid sparkly vampires were, turned me off. Then Netflix decided I was going to watch it anyway. I ended up loving all the Twilight movies but I never realized until just this moment when I watched this short, that this was thee Robert Pattinson. I don&#39;t know how that happened, probably because I saw this video, before I ever saw Twilight, so it didn&#39;t actually hit me until I just now watched this short again. 
Either way; I find it to be brilliant, hilarious, creative &amp; completely worthy of 3 minutes out of your day. That&#39;s at least what I&#39;m supposed to say, I think. The reality is, I think it actually means more than that, but it will likely go over most people&#39;s heads. People without anxiety will never understand it, until they have to deal with it. I can&#39;t imagine having people in my face with cameras all day. I would have a train of ongoing panic attacks constantly. I hate leaving my house now, and nobody cares If I do. If one day people did actually care that I walked outside, or changed my clothes, I would likely lock myself away, and be forced to resort to hot dogs myself. I hate hot dogs. I can&#39;t tell if Robert is saying he actually likes hot dogs. Or if he hides himself away from his fame and the crazy people outside so much... that he was hungry enough for the hot dog to look good. <br/><br/>I suppose I look at things slightly differently because of my work with Veterans of the Armed Forces as well as Active Duty Troops. It took awhile but eventually I learned that the uniform doesn&#39;t make anyone a good person, despite their bravery and sacrifice for our country, they&#39;re still only human and have feelings just like anyone else. They&#39;re trained to act like robots and in turn are treated like machinery. We (America&#39;s society) do something similar to famous people here that I can&#39;t understand myself. People are people to me. Some of them have a ton more money than I do, but that doesn&#39;t make anyone a better person, or more important than the homeless Vietnam vet on the street in my opinion. I believe this was part of the point Pattinson was trying to make.

I never knew Robert Pattinson could be so funny! I was pleasantly surprised by how much I ended up loving this, and as a fellow introvert I found myself relating to certain moments. He needs to do more comedy!

I guess it is a hundred time harder to become unrecognisable and invisible among people who connect your face with the sweetest vampire ever, but this was really pathetic :), reminds me to &quot;Life of Brian&quot; of Monty Python. You should try it yourself in a comedy genre.

&quot;Fear &amp; Shame&quot; is a live action short film from pretty recently (2017) that features actor Robert Pattinson in a year where people say he may have given his finest performance up-to-date. But not in here. These slightly over 2.5 minutes show us the British actor how he is glad to be safe in a hotel room from all the paparazzi and he calls it his fortress of solitude. Problem is he is oh so hungry and when he spots a fella eating a delicious hot dog, then there is no holding him back then. A man&#39;s gotta do what a man&#39;s gotta do! If there is any reason to see this very short film, it may be the absurdity of it all. This was a really bizarre work with the detailed contents of the voice overs. This was really so strange. Quality filmmaking by director Vikram Gandhi it probably was not. But it is worth seeing for big Pattinson fans as it also wasn&#39;t anywhere near a failure. The GQ connection is of course really really vague, which is also why I cannot take it seriously or appreciate it as a commercial. My recommendation is to skip the watch here.
