9-1-1 is a dramatic (and often traumatic) series based on real-life emergency responder stories, takes viewers through harrowing crisis and climactic rescues. It has scenes of people having serious (or fatal) accidents, sustaining horrific injuries, and other disturbing moments. Definitely not for the faint of heart, and not intended for young or sensitive viewers.

Several scenes of severe domestic abuse and killing in self-defense. Can be quite traumatic for victims of abuse.

Potrayal of postpartum depression and attempts of suicide.

Some natural catastrophes like tsunamis and earthquakes.

Many peril throughout in a lot of episodes, which can be frightening and intense for some viewers.

This show is really dark and intense.

In season 7, Bobby's and Athenas cruise ship gets hijacked. Many deaths involved along with emotional scenes such as Bobby and athena almost drowning.
