Jack and the team investigate a strange case, where they hear a recording of the murder, but have no idea where the victim is, or who killed her.

The island is celebrating its Day of the Dead, which literally lives up to its name when Daisy Anderson, organizer of a charity auction at the local yacht club, is murdered after sending a frantic message to her husband Finn. She had had a brief affair with club member Adam Warner, about which Finn knew, and was filing for divorce, as well as discovering a fraud perpetrated by club treasurer Charlotte Hamilton. However all three have alibis. Jack is mystified by the appearance of a butterfly which should be in hibernation on Daisy's body but it gives him a clue to solving her murder.—don @ minifie-1

During the Fête Mouri (Day of the Death) festival, Daisy Anderson, who hosted the yacht club's annual charitable auction, is strangled, just after texting a panic-stricken message to her spineless husband Finn. Jack's team discovers that Daisy had an affair with yacht club member Adam Warner, which Finn knew about, and she planned to divorce him for a share of his fortune. However, all suspects in the case have alibis. While wondering over a short-living butterfly on Daisy's corpse long out of season, Jack learns that Daisy blackmailed yacht club secretary and treasurer Charlotte Hamilton, who stole funds for her fake 'foundation'. Dwayne's lover Elize Johnson's spoiled kid niece nightmares stem from seeing Finn apparently strangle Daisy, which doesn't fit other evidence but inspires Jack to rethink everything.—KGF Vissers
