Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The Radio Demon 'Alastor' says that if he wanted to hurt anyone he would already have done so already. He goes full on nightmare fuel whilst saying this.
  • The pilot opens up with the aftermath of a yearly extermination. It shows many dismembered corpses of demons, but most are silhouetted or in the background. One corpse's head is torn off by another demon and put into a cart full or other body parts and another corpse is shown having a spear removed from it's head as a group of demons descend onto it. It's not shown what happens next, but it's heavily implied that the demons are eating the corpse.
  • Given that the show literally takes place in hell you should expect to see a plethora of demonic characters and satanic imagery in the background.
  • When Alastor's backstory is discussed it shows some creepy imagery with some spooky music. This shouldn't be too frightening to most people though.
  • Alastor the "Radio Demon" may frighten younger audiences and some adult audiences.
  • The extermination angels have creepy appearances.
  • In episode 6, Lute says to Vaggie that her and Charlie's love is vile because they are homosexuals which is a sin. This could definitely offend homosexual viewers.
  • The show seems to be portraying Adam (who is from the Bible) and angels as the antagonists and making the sinners and demons the protagonists. Some religious viewers may find the show blasphemous or offensive.
  • A lot of angels get killed from sinners and demons and this could also be blasphemous or offensive to religious viewers.
  • Some characters insult angels and Adam being dirty minded in the show is pretty offensive to religious viewers.
  • If this was a movie, it would be rated R for violence, bloody images, language throughout, sexual content and some drug use.
