All is familiar. The vulnerable young woman renting a room in London, Tthe obscure landlord, his keeper of rent, the sounds upstairs, the change of order. And the traits of Gothic are the good spice giving to the story credibility, mistery and high dose of seduction. Short, a smart short horror.
