The best halftime show

Whenever I think of the Super Bowl halftime show I think of MJ and now Gaga. She truly put on the best show to date and made it a timeless performance.

Warning: Spoilers
The title "Super Bowl LI Halftime Show Starring Lady Gaga" summarizes pretty well what we got here, namely the Super Bowl halftime show from 2017 (edition 51) and the star during these 13.5 minutes is Lady Gaga. She sways down to the stage and performs some of her biggest hits. How much you like this one, will probably be inevitable connected to how much you like Lady Gaga as it is really all about her. I remember other Super Bowl halftime shows having more than one artist perform, one headlines and 2 or so side acts, but nobody here taking the attention away from Gaga this time. She sends her wishes to her parents, hugs a fan and otherwise plays mostly her faster numbers plus one ballad (A Million Reasons). The ending is Pokerface. There was less Paparazzi in here than I expected, but that is not necessarily a bad sign. Then again, pretty much all her other songs are overrated too in my opinion, so my definitely not unbiased take has a lot to do with how much (dis)liked the event. I don't think that I couldn't care less about American Football is really an issue here. I also found the sponsoring unlikable though. Is it really necessary to include a brand in the name of a sports event halftime show? Even if it is such a big one? I don't know. I will spare you the name, but lets just say I wasn't glad we didn't get Gaga drink a glass of said sponsor as she had to because of her contract. The one thing that cannot be denied is how much energy is in that little person. I am not a fan of her music and don't think she is particularly talented either, at least not in a way where she would be among the defining artists and now also actors of our generation, but well that's just my opinion (bro). All in all, I would have given this a 2 out of 10 probably, but the firework was okay and my personal taste aside, this one can probably not described as a failure which would justify such a rating, even if her music did almost nothing for me here. The worst moment was probably her butchering "This Land", a wonderful song really, and her fake patriotism hurt a bit too. Don't watch or listen to. Don't be fooled by the Emmys getting it really wrong here.
