While the acting isn't that great, it's always nice to see how these movies show off the talents of Australian cheerleaders and gymnasts.

Cheerleading Down Under
Uriah4321 June 2019
This film begins with a young high school student named "Emma Wilson" (Kelli Berglund) being told by her father "Major John Wilson" (Terry Rogers) that because of his occupation in the U.S. Air Force they are being transferred from California to Australia. Needless to say, having already experienced several recent redeployments Emma is not too keen on moving again. But having few other options she resolves to make the most of it even though it means having to forsake her cheerleading squad in the process. Fortunately, she adapts rather quickly and soon makes some new friends. Not long afterward, she discovers that they have recently been disqualified from competing in gymnastics and since they have nothing better to do agree to form their own cheerleading squad instead. What she doesn't know, however, is that there are a couple of girls there who have alreadly set up a cheerleading squad of their own-and they are quite willing to do anything necessary to eliminate any possible competition. Now rather than reveal any more I will just say that this was a rather weak cheerleading film due in large part to the predictable plot and relatively poor acting. That being said, while not a terrible movie necessarily, it clearly wasn't as good as some of those in the "Bring It On" series and for that reason I have rated it accordingly. Slightly below average.

Warning: Spoilers
As a cheerleader myself I was looking for a movie and thought this looked pretty good but was very disappointed my sport was not represented like it should have been and the acting was not all that great and it was very obvious that it wasn't actually the actors cheering but they were stunt doubles and if you are going to make a movie on something at least let it be accurate the team that they formed was supposed to be a level 4 but in the real cheer world some of their stunts were level four but most stunts and tumbling were level 2 or 3. If you are going to make a movie do it right and research what you are making a movie on!!
Terrible

Watching it with my mum and even she agrees it's total crap. The acting is terrible and everyone is so unnatural, and the story isn't much better either. Just don't watch it unless you want to cringe into the 5th dimension
