Profound & real
gus49514 April 2018
I just wanted to leave a review because I almost finished watching this and I love it so much.

I haven't watched anime for a few years now but boy, does this title deliver. It's sweet, supremely poignant, and most importantly, real and sincere.

Basically most of the episodes consist of Violet going to someplace and writing a letter for someone. But the beautiful thing is, every story is real and unabashed. There's a lot of sadness and stuff that will make you cry but it's never manipulative or doesn't ever feel forced. It's authenthic and doesn't exist for any other purpose than to show that it does exist and that it can hurt or be beautiful, and most of the time both.

Anyway, I am totally enamored with this series. The animation is also beautiful and the characters are all distinct and do not strictly comply to anime stereotypes (too much). My only complaint is that the main protagonist is a 14 y/o girl who managed to wreck entire armies of soldiers and somehow was some unstoppable killing machine despite being built like a stick figure. But since this anime I guess that's something that can be reasonably forgiven.

My verdict: watch this series. It is truly incredible!

made me cry pretty much every episode ;;
mqemerald27 April 2019
This is by far, in terms of an anime series especially, one of the most beautifully animated pieces i've ever seen. the colours, the animation, the rendering of landscapes, ugh, absolute eye candy. as for the plot, i'd say that two episodes in, i was getting quite frustrated by violet's barely-human nature, but i'm glad i stuck through! i'd definitely recommend this in general :))) but, i wish some characters were developed more, and that each person's story (violet's clients, i guess) wasn't just limited to each episode, because it did kind of feel like 'filler' in a way, or that they were meaningless (didn't have the most impact, at the end). i know that the show did establish a recurring theme of war but i think it wasn't enforced well enough to make all the episodes feel fully tied together? even violet's character could've been developed more during the first half. but that's just me nitpicking, this was still a beautiful anime if you stick through to the bitter end, super happy to have watched it :'>

Warning: Spoilers
At first I came across this while browsing new 2018 shows, yet once I started the first episode I felt as though it pulled me in quite smoothly with an increadible art style and a story I had not been expecting.

The story itself seemed as though it would follow the struggles in a fictional war yet the characters and their stories are introduced seemingly though the first episode which changed my perspective from craving a war story to finding it curious the effects war had on someone (Violet Evergarden) who has only known of war their whole life. After watching the second episode I can say with certainty that I will continue to await new episodes.

Her childhood is seemingly robbed from her and she is used by others in a war she has no feelings in fighting other than following orders. Once she looses both her arms and her superior officer (Major) dies. She is discharged and a friend of the Major takes her in and attempts to help her adjust to normal life as well as providing her with a job at his company. Violet will attempt to cut appart what it means to feel and express feelings whilst waiting for the day the Major visits her, unknown to her is that the Major died from his wounds on the same day she lost her arms. The story is then a continuation of this premise.

I'm not crying. You're crying!
Okey, I'll keep this review as brief and too the point as possible. The animation is just stunning. This anime is just gorgeous with a capital G. Voice acting is perfectly chosen. Weather you're watching the sub or the dub it's great.

If I had too point out one negative thing it's the fact that some people may find the first two or three episodes relative slow. But please do yourself a favor and keep watching. As soon as episode 3 or 4 the series starts too click.

The story is a writers Magnus opus. The characters have convincing motivations, backstories etc. And then I'm not even talking about the events in the episodes themselves.

From episode 6 to 13 it's one big cry-fest. The stories are so heartfelt and heartbreaking I had to cry at least a few times every episode. Anyone with their heart in the right spot would cry I think.

EPISODE 10 is without a doubt one of the best things you'll have ever seen.

Watch this now.

For you before you watch
lucasdidonatis11 March 2018
Okay, here goes my 3rd review. Violet Evargarden is a young girl known as "the weapon" during the war, because of her insane skills at the battlefield. After the war is over, Violet starts working as an "Auto Memories Doll" in order to understand her commander´s last words. Dolls are hired by regular people in order to express in a letter their thoughts for someone, the best as posible. The episodes are focus on Violet´s job as a Doll, the things she learn from them, and the story behind her strange behaviour. I think that´s all i should say about the plot.

My philosophy: you can always find something in an anime that you´ve never seen before, and for me that´s enough to make it a worthy watch (which is why i´d never tell anyone not to watch an anime). However, there are some things you need to know before you watch. This anime is not yet finished, but after the last episodes i think i´ve seen enough to make a worthy review.

The animation is one of the bests out there. The colours and the amount of detail in every environment is a pleasure to watch. The soundtrack fits perfectly for the series. I wouldn´t say it´s an amazing soundtrack but it does its job quite well.

The storyline is not very atractive itself, but it´s execution is flawless. The main theme in Violet is the character´s development (her development in specific), which i must say that considering this is a 13 episodes series, it felt very well acomplished along the way. Every episode brings something new and refreshing to the series and every outcome seems to have been thought in detail.

This is a 10/10 for me. So far all i can see is a very well crafted anime. There is love and a lot of dedication on it. Definatelly a must watch.

Usually i don't watch anime. But this does put a smile on my face.
LUchiha2 February 2018
If you have already watched it you know what i am going to say and if not then go and watch it first.

Artistic type Great visuals, lovely background sound and the main is the plot which is quite a different and that what makes it more beautiful. Usually maximum audience love to watch those which have action, suspense ,story and a good antagonist. This series is nothing like that. Yes this series has Suspense that the main character Violet Evergarden is trying to figure out the emotion and Feelings that hold this world in her own way and thus that's the main suspense for us indeed. As the day are passing and the new episode of this series is getting a lot better. The pace of the series may be slow for some peoples. The thing which is keeping me to go on with this series is how the main character will discover herself who lacks to understand emotions. Every episode is taken as far as real life example(as per me) which make it so better.. I recommend people to watch this who like content which gives us advice to understand feelings and emotions - it would be spoilers if i try to say more about it though it would be better if you discover this anime by yourself.

Animation -10

Sound Editing - 9

Background music - 10

Story line - 9

English Dubbing -9

Emotions - 10

overall i love it... that's why i rated it 10..

A masterpiece in every single way!
MajorLuke18 February 2018
First of all what catch my attention instantly was the art of the anime, which is a masterpiece by itself. It is a pleasure without end to see such a gorgeous animation and my eyes sure thanks a lot. Since the first episode I could see that this anime would be worth my time. The way the history is presented to us and the way it develops itself is magnificent, it helds a feeling of mystery and sadness all the time, and it doens't fail to make you wish for more. The characters are well contructed and well explored too. This masterpiece is definitly going to my favourite animes list.

After finishing it - 04/06/2018.

The way the history devoloped trough the episodes was amazing, the story is touching and perfect, the end was perfect, it leaves itself open to interpretations and is not cliche. I loved it in every way, 10 out of 10 without doubt, It is now one of my favourites animes of all time.

Nearly every episode is an individual masterpiece
rjcsmc9 April 2018
I have seen a lot of anime in my time, with a log of almost 2,000 anime movies or series that I have reviewed (elsewhere than IMDb), and have given very, very few above a 10 star rating. I was very surprised after seeing the trailer for Violet Evergarden as this turned out to be so much more than I expected. Every episode pulls at your heartstrings as it revels the pains of daily life and the ever so important words that we need to say to the ones most important to us while we still have the chance, and sometimes, when that chance is no longer an option.

The animation visuals are truly amazing and do an excellent job of setting up both the intensity and/or gentleness of the moment, with a balanced mix between 2D and CG without ever making the mix obvious. I rate them a 10.

The background score also does an excellent job between music and sometimes pure silence to allow the viewer to either be pulled along by the emotions of the score, or to be hushed and feel the impact of statement or a visual expression. I rate it also a 10.

The overall story at times seems like it has been done before (which is hard to do these days when literally tens of thousands of anime titles have already been done), yet keeps it fresh with little twists that keep you tied to the main character. There are absolutely breathtaking moments with a sentence here or there literally yanks the emotions from your chest and helps you realize that even if this episode seems like something you've witnessed before, you haven't felt it quite like this. I rate it a 11.

The character development at times seems weak for some of the side characters, many of whom appear to be typical anime clichés. However, at other times some of the minor characters feel more developed that then what you might consider to be the main cast to highlight a significant emotional draw needed for that part of the story. As for the main character, the steps you see her development from what she was to what she can become, are slow, painful and sometimes a bit overemphasized. The character flashbacks, though, help you realize the internal struggle she has, and why her inability to let go is so strong while she deals with understanding the emotions of others. I rate it a 9.5.

If you are a fan of anime. This is a must see.

If you are not a fan of anime, but enjoy series with strong dramatic appeal and a solid, engaging story, this is a must see.

That said, be sure to have a box of tissues handy. You're going to need them.

A journey full of emotions and feels.
adamfkk20 March 2018
Violet Evergarden is all about self discovery and learning to adapt in a new way of life which is very strange to what you're used to.

STORY/PLOT The story revolves around Violet Evergarden, a young girl around the age of 14 who was orphaned at a young age and taken into the military to be trained and used as a weapon in the war. She basically became "militarised" in her personality and attitude and became very emotionless because of this. The only person she really knew and had feelings for (whether she knew this herself or not) was her major (Gilbert). The war is now over and she wakes in a hospital healed from the last battle, Violet Evergarden remembers the last thing Gilbert said to her but doesn't understand what it meant due to her personality and attitude of being in the military all her life and used as a weapon. She now has to find a new job while also finding out where Gilbert is and what he meant. So she becomes an auto memory doll. These write letters for clients that are unable to write themselves, so the dolls listen to what they want to say and write it down in a professional way for their client. Violet Evergarden starts learning about different types of emotions through this process like love and grief through listening to people's stories and seeing thier emotions of how they react when saying what they want written down in their letters. She ultimately starts getting closer to learning what her Majors last words was to her.

This anime is purely story and character based it's all about character building and the emotional journey of a young girl (and it really is emotional at times and gets the feels going) there's very very minimal action so don't go expecting massive fight scenes because it isn't about that. The animation and drawings are incredible while the soundtrack is also perfect for this story and is beautifully done to get your emotions going with this story. It left me wanting to watch more and more after each episode which is always a good sign of a well done anime. I can honestly say it's one of my favourite anime's.

You are either moved and give it an 8-10 or aren't and give it a 6-7 (PLEASE READ).

Warning: Spoilers
Rating 7.6

Favorite Episode: Violet Evergarden

You are either very emotionally moved by this series and rate it a 8-10/10 or aren't emotionally moved and give it a 6-7. This series relies very heavily on eliciting an emotional response, it WANTS you to cry, but I just never did. I was moved but not as much as I wanted to be. Violets backstory is tragic but major details about it that must be explained aren't: We don't know why she's such a killing machine (the story wouldn't have occurred if she wasn't a human weapon recruited by dietfreid), why exactly she took the Evergarden last name, what happened to her parents ect... The animation is the greatest I've ever seen, and the soundtrack is great. But overall the story itself is just, fine, nothing amazing. For that reason, I can't give it above a 7 even though I want to.

Some major questions are answered in the light novel however I am rating the ANIME adaptation.

Couldn't connect with any of the characters
danisbelmm11 November 2020
I watched this show purely because I wanted to see why people love this show so much. The world building was lacking. They never explained anything regarding why the war started or motivations behind it. Been centered that much on the war I would expect some type of history about how it started in the first place. They never explain much about Violet. I'd like to ask how was this girl allowed to join the military in the first place? Why was she so strong and special and why she didn't understand any emotions?? The inability to understand her character made me not care for her.

Story: 6/10 Characters: 5/10 Music: 8/10 Animation 9/10 Total: 7/10

I don't think this show deserves the hype is got but to each their own.

Beautiful animation, story leaves much to be desired
DrDarkness3 September 2018
It's a known problem of long running tv shows, especially with anime series where each episode usually have their own storyline and then the "main story" gets pulled forward only here and there. At some point you realize you learn how about 80% of the episodes will be; the story line gets repeated, only with slight changes with the previous episodes (different setting etc).

I wouldn't had expected to face this problem with Violet Evergarden with only 14 episodes. It doesn't take long to see how each episode work; There's a problem, Violet dives in and solves it, and learns something about herself. And then all over again in the next episode.

As the main story has an interesting feel, it's not enough to bring it up only here and there. Instead we get to see Violet fulfilling her task and oh, another episode has gone by and lesson learned.

It's specially frustrating to see such lazy writing and yet look at the amazing animation with awe. Sure, the main story sometimes pulled my heart strings, but it didn't do it genuinely. This show had a "tear jerker" written all over it, and that's exactly what it is. But I would've LOVED to feel strong emotions WITH a unique storyline, not only with stock feelz crap.

So storyline gets about 3/10, animation 10/10, and characters 4/10 for their far from unique style. Decide for yourself - if you're content with meh story but want to see beautiful anime and maybe drop a tear or two, then by all means watch Violet Evergarden but leave your brain in a locker.

A show that gives words a whole other meaning
Thumper-1136 April 2018
As of yesterday on the 5th of April, Violet Evergarden has finally reached its finish, and wow was it stunning. Not only was its artistry on high bar all throughout each episode, but to see how breathtaking and realistic a show like this portrayed a girl, who all throughout her life could only ever understand orders from others, embarking on a journey of self discovery made me feel not only intrigued, but inspired.

Violet Evergarden, a name partly given to her by her late Major, Gilbert Bougainvillea. She was seen as but a mere tool in the time of war and acted on all of her orders without hesitation. After the war, Violet soon becomes employed as an Auto Memories Doll. Although it starts off rough for her, with enough practise, she soon begins to realize the deeper elements of human emotion when writing a letter.

Violet as a whole was a very unique character to follow along all throughout these episodes. It was interesting to see a character like her to see through the eyes of not only others around her, but even herself. The joy and pride from her new abilities as a Doll did prove herself to have a strong and positive impact upon others, but also soon left her to face her inner demons after realizing what her actions she inflicted in the past truly left on others.

The show genuinely had an extraordinary way of showing to the viewer exactly the kind of depression and sorrow every person in the show felt that Violet was able to change. Whether it was the loss of someone dear or the struggles to find the right words for someone they love, you can see and feel how as Violet is assisting them, they soon begin to find the true beam of light at the end of the tunnel.

If there is to be another season, I would gladly go along with it to see more about what the show and character Violet Evergarden has to offer. They surely left things off on a good note, especially in a way that that can be left both ambiguous, and soon-to-be answered for the mere future.

Overall this show was without a doubt, a masterpiece to explore and stay hooked onto until the very end. Here in this anime, you see human nature in a fairly different and peculiar perspective that shows us the story of a girl, whom all she wanted to learn from the start was what the words "I love you" truly meant.

This show is absolutely stunning.
rafiqe-880261 December 2017
Every frame of this show is a work of art hand drawn by an artist. This has got to be the most beautiful anime i have ever seen.(And I've seen a lot of anime) The 2D animation is highly detailed and makes watching this show a truly breathtaking experience. The animation in this show gets a solid 10/10.

As for the story well it revolves around Auto Memory Dolls that were originally created by a scientist to aid his blind wife in writing her novels, & later rented out to other people in need of their services. The story follows the life of a Particular Auto Memory Doll called Violet and her interactions with humans. The story is fantastic overall id give it a 9/10.

An Anime Worth Seeing
kjproulx13 April 2018
I rarely review anime shows, due to the fact that I usually don't get to them until they've been recommended by many people first, but Violet Evergarden was a short series that I felt like getting into upon its initial release. It's not very often that an anime series can present itself and be accessible to a wide range of demographics, but I truly feel as though my obvious praise for this show will go towards all age groups. I haven't seen countless shows and movies like some anime fans have, but I've seen enough to know this is a great one. Tackling real-life issues like war and love, Violet Evergarden also manages to include subtle sci-fi elements to further deepen each and every episode at hand. Whether you enjoy watching anime or not, here's why I believe this show deserves your attention.

At a mere 13 episodes, this series follows Violet, an ex-military "weapon," as she now leads her new life as what is known as an Auto Memories Doll. She, along with many others, work in an office for a postal service or travel across the world in order to put people's words to paper. Some may be close to death and may not be able to write and some may just not be good at that sort of thing in general. Her job is to write letters that will leave a lasting impact on those meant to receive them. Told through 13 unique chapters, each episode tells its own story, all while giving emotional backstory to each of the main characters. With so much depth and character development placed into these 13 episodes, it was hard not to fall in love with this well-written show.

Yes, it's accessible to those who don't usually watch this style of television, due to the fact that I watched this series dubbed in English and found the voice acting to be satisfactory and was still able to get me emotional. For those who may be hardcore anime fans, I can assure you that the Japanese version will probably suit you better and you may even enjoy it more. When a show can balance love, war, fictional aspects like a postal service using things called Auto Memories Dolls, and the very notion that a single letter can have someone live on in someone's heart forever, then you truly have a masterpiece on your hands.

You may feel slightly short-changed as a few of the episodes come to their end because certain elements are never brought up again, but by the time the show concludes, you'll find yourself thinking about everything that happened and wondering why you cared about that in the first place. Almost all episodes stand as their own stories but culminate to a very worthy conclusion that undoubtedly will have tears streaming down the faces of those who really find themselves invested in this premise. Another thing to admire is that in such a short run, this show will leave a lasting impact as one of the best series I've had the pleasure of seeing.

In the end, Violet Evergarden does everything beautifully in terms of storytelling and didn't leave me wanting more, which isn't a bad thing at all. Everything is nicely wrapped up in the final episode and each and every preceding episode felt worthy of the wait. This is a show filled with vibrant colors, wonderful animation, terrific characters, fantastic music, and thought-provoking themes. If you're someone who enjoys anime, then I can't recommend this series enough. If you're hesitant on the notion or are new to the medium of anime, I would still recommend this as a nice jumping off point for you. Violet Evergarden is a wonderful story from beginning to end.

From India With LOve
w-5469813 March 2018
Why doesn't INDIA makes such a beautiful anime like this. Sorry india don't make any good cartoon or anime like this. When i was a child i grew up watching dragon ball z, blayblade, digimon, dual master. i was not aware that time that it was all anime. Then there was the show called Naruto enters in my life(ofcourse it last till only chunnin exam) which change my thoughts about cartoon(anime). From that moment i came to know that there is something called anime which are far more mature and beautiful than our shitty indian cartoon. By the time i grew up watching many anime and in my list of favorites I find something named as VIOLET EVERGARDEN. By watching the first episode I knew that it gonna be a Beautiful ride of animation, background sound and most important Emotions. For all indians Please do watch This.. It is far better than our family melodramatic Serials....

It's not that great as people say it is.
IYANN_3 July 2018
Violet Evergarden story is cliche, predictable, it's one of those plot written Animes that make you expect something bad - and it will -- is going to happen, it almost reminds me of Plastic Memories. Main protagonist goes out on an adventure/journey, and seeks "this" meaning to define their existence by visiting newly introduced characters into her life and amending their said problems, or finding this kind of redemption. Violet Evergarden is that and it doesn't exactly fail to present a story with multiple sub plots for the progression of the protagonist.

But that's where the unpleasant side comes from, you write a story that revolves around multiple side stories in order to develop the protagonist, but it hinders the development instead, there's no point in the Anime that I felt a connection to the main protagonist due to the crucial absence of an important clarification of the main characters backstory, yes it showed certain crucial moments of the protagonist past, but not exactly enough, there is still explanations that needed to be done, which we didn't get at all, and was surely not drastic enough to create an emotional connection to the viewer, or to me, even after the 10/11th episode that felt like the ending, the plot deteriorates. What's the purpose of the remaining 2 episodes, they are just "extras" to add more irrelevant emotions -- being entirely unrelated to the actual reason why we are watching the show, which is about Violet, and not about the new characters that are presented each episode.

It lacked and I felt like they needed to focus more on Violet's backstory -- what was her origin, who exactly trained her to be this fearless deadly killer at a very young age, and her family? Things that matter, are not shown. But that is expected from an Anime that doesn't go deep in backstory and expect you to assume the rest in your mind. Just like any other Anime.

I won't lie, this anime is enjoyable, the emotional tale of Violet and her journey to seek the meaning of what I love you means to her, a human emotion that she is completely oblivious to. Uncovering or listening to the life stories of each character she meets in order for her to write down an intimate letter for her clients, to put what they genuinely feel in words that they can't express into a piece of paper for the person they care about to understand while herself unfolds the meaning behind the three words "I love you" is to her. I can understand why people like it, cause they feel emotional towards the Anime, and it does get to you, adding the spectacular animations, hell, it's great. Watch it.

The gorgeous part of this Anime is the Art and Music, the beautiful animation and soundtracks this anime presents to you is astonishing, and it's like this is where half the budget went to. It's really eye-catching and that deserves recognition, for its Animation and music, props to the people who worked on it.

Beautifully Made And A Tear Jerker
btdeltafan23 March 2018
I binge watched the next 10 episodes after finishing the first one. I wasn't expecting this show to hit me as hard as it did but everything about it show hit home with me. I found for days after and even longer that the episodes stuck with me and I'd continue to think about them. It truly is one of my favorite shows I've watched in a long time and I'm glad I did.

My only regret is that the show hasn't been released in full yet so I will have to wait a week each time for a new episode.

Violet Evergarden is a damn good watch and I hope everyone gives it a shot.

Nice Anime to pass the time
TVpotatoCat14 May 2018
Don't let the words "the weapon" in the summary fool you. This is not a story about some weapon or about a war and filled with action. Rather it's a story about the aftermath of war and about the human emotion.

Violet goes out to learn about emotions by writing letters for people, her goal is to understand the words "I love you". The pace in this series is slow and leveled, it won't hold you at the edge of your seat with suspense, but the curiosity about Violet's journey will make you want to keep watching. The series managed to portray very well the feeling of loss, and made the characters feel alive. Although it had some down sides as well: Like the whole profession that was called "Auto Memories Dolls" , this title made no sense to me but maybe it's just bad translation. The fact that Violet's past and abilities were never explained, though I guess it could be argued that the series on purpose tried not to touch this subject. And I think what bothered me the most is the smooth transaction from emotionless puppet who killed people without bashing an eye to someone who could be considered a normal person after a relative short time. It could be a nice series to pass the time, but also can be dull in moments.

Niche anime with little on offer for the average (anime)viewer.
wolfgangvonposakilla19 August 2020
Warning: Spoilers
In a post-war setting, in a parallel world that closely resembles the real-life 19th century, a female ex-soldier (Violet Evergarden) joins a novelty company that writes letters in peoples stead.

Sounds ... a bit mundane, no? But hey it's anime right? They'll probably twist it into something bizarre and exhilarating. Well no. The series is exactly as it sounds. Our main character travels each episode to a far off place to meet a one off character and set his/her words on paper. Uh-huh. So it's an emotion focused anime but in a grating immature way. This isn't a moody brooding masterpiece like Jin-roh or some of Satoshi Kon's movies. So the anime fails to achieve what it set out to do, make you care.

Beyond the admittedly beautiful art-style and visuals, there's very little on offer here. Barely a story, lame comedy, some short forgettable action scenes, lot's of typical anime cringe and the usual bag of stereotypes and tropes.

But above all there's 2 big issues with Violet Evergarden.

First, the premise is unrealistic. In the anime's world very few people can read or write. That on it's own isn't something implausible (In our reality there remained large groups of illiterate people well into the 20th century). What's highly unlikely is that common paupers would pay serious coin, that they likely don't even have to begin with, for something as trivial as a letter. In one episode for example Violet and a colleague travel by train to a remote village simply to write some family's birthday party invitations intended for the towns people. That's hard to buy, too hard. As if common farmers would send for a professional from half a country away just to get a basic message to their fellow townspeople who live a few minute or miles away. Right.

Second big issue: Violet Evergarden herself. See Violet isn't just some regular girl/ex-soldier. No, she's you're stereotypical anime little girl super soldier, a trope done to death in a plethora of anime. Why? How? Nobody knows. It's never explained what she is, how, when, why and by whom she was made. What's sure is that she an anomalous element in an otherwise so familiar looking world. Nothing (Save for the implausible letter-writing element) in the world of Violet evergarden is of an unrealistic, supernatural or fantastical nature. They've got weapons, clothes, tools, machinery and a society pretty much like we had in the 19th century. The only element out of place here is Violet: She outruns bullets, takes down multiple guys twice her size, carries a grown man with her teeth after losing both arms and makes impossible leaps (Yup, it's anime rules: the strongest character is either a teen with a robot or a tiny girl). But because there's no explanation whatsoever violet feels double out of place, like she walked in from another anime. It's really all one big ploy to have a character that acts more machine than human. You see, the flimsy narrative thread throughout the series is that Violet, not knowing or understanding common human feelings, wants to do exactly that so she can understand her dead ex-commander's last words: That he loved her. It's all so very contrived it almost hurts.

So in conclusion. With so little on offer and failing in what is-, adding these 2 big issues, I can't give this anime more than a 4. It's a disjointed snooze-fest. Don't waste your time.

The story and character development are a masterpiece. You will eventually feel empathy with the main character and it will surely hit you in the feels. Not jut the previous mention, but the animation is wonderful and colorful, which in all, will hook you.
