- Toward the beginning, a girlfriend goes to wake her boyfriend from bed. She's in a short dress and straddles his legs; They share like a 10 second long kiss that hints at more but they have to leave.

- Graphic detail is shown of an attempted suicide. Easily the most violent moment in the film.
- Graphic, bloody images are shown in the aftermath of violence including stabbings and a throat slashing
- This movie is extremely terrifying. There are extended scenes of supernatural horror throughout and lots of jump scares. Demons, entities and possessed corpses attack scared people and rush towards the screen. Possessed people's bodies twist disgustingly with cracking noises featured. A dead body is shown in a puddle of blood and there are gory close-up images of the hand and foot of a decomposing and dirty dead body.
- A woman smashes another woman's face with a rock.

Violence & Gore
- A man who is possessed kills his landlord by stabbing him 22 times. The victim is killed offscreen but you can hear him screaming & stabbing noises.
- A man's throat is slit by a woman there is quite a lot of blood
- In a vision, a character stabs her friend several times. It is filmed from a distance, and often cuts between the vision and Lorraine Warren imitating the stabbing motion.
- A character starts commit suicide by slitting his throat with a piece of glass, but he is stopped.
- A possessed little boy stabs his father in the leg with a little bit of blood seen.
- At the end the Occultist is contorted up and killed by the demon
- A faucet in a bathtub bursts and blood gushes onto a young boy
- A teenage girl is stabbed 22 times by a possessed woman. She dies cause of her injuries.
- During the opening scene a young boy is being exorcised, he starts to contort his body into a inhuman shape. We hear him screaming in pain while his bones are crunching.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- At the end of the film, actual audio tapes from the exorcism of David Glatzel are played. It is extremely chilling and scary.
- in one scene a woman is dragged of a cliff by a demon but she lives. Very suspenseful.
- There's a very intense scene of the satanist trying to stab a woman in the face.
