The sweet smell of........death.
Sleepin_Dragon13 October 2018
After such a huge opening episode, the fear was that the second part would fall flat, fortunately it didn't, it managed to build on the success of the first, and be bigger and bolder.

It's totally zany, totally over the top, but totally fabulous. We get to learn a little more about Villanelle, but only minute details, I'm sure we'll be made to wait to learn what makes her tick, and how she ended up in the position she's in.

There was a great moment where Villanelle and Ev each had a realisation that they had seen each other, it was superbly done. Comer was incredible once again, how easy it would have been for her to overplay her part, especially when she was flouncing around in that pink dress, but she was sincere, menacing and totally convincing. Can anyone really be that cold?

Excellent from start to finish, I particularly enjoyed the way the perfume scene was done. Great viewing, 9/10

Title: Nation Anthem
Br4ve-trave1or3 July 2018
"I like music. I love nation anthems!" Says the cold blooded killer to sebastian as they take a romantic stroll.

Shes incredible in this show! A real scene stealer and captivates you with her looks and her charisma! She just glows with intrigue and enchantment!

There are times where just maybe you think, wait, maybe she does have some empathy or sympathy. Then you realize, nope! Shes a stone cold killer with ice running through her veins. But that's what makes her humor so brilliant! She seems so full of life and it radiates off this malignant soul that aches to slaughter the next person.

Then theres eve. Oh, eve. (PUN) if only this wasnt tv-14 I wonder how much more amazing it can be without limits and restraints. But no complaints. Its just dark enough and has the right amount of black comedy to it. Applause for the beautiful balanced scale. I can spend all my time watching a sadistic beautiful female in a pink dramatic dress answering questions from a contract killer doctor. Or the back and forth between her and her handler. Casted incredibly too I might add!

All around, two episodes is what it takes for this incredibly special series to sink its teeth in you. You'll be so intrigued after the pilot, but hooked after episode 2! No regrets!

As she searches for Eve on her laptop with the harddrive given by the late Sebastian, I laughed hearing how he gave her songs of national anthems and how it didnt affect her one bit. Not even after what just happened. She plays a killer better than Dexter in just 2 episodes.

Then she sees her. The flashback to my first episode title review "Hair down". So apt that I now name this national anthem. Bravo!

I'll Deal with Him Later

This is looking like a twisted version of Leon the Professional.

In the second episode. Villanelle's handler is upset with her cockiness and sloppiness. He persuades Villanelle to see a company psychiatrist. Just imagine being the shrink on call for a company of assassins.

Villanelle is tasked to kill the head of a company head and she soon comes out smelling of success.

However Eve is hot on her trail. She is not unemployed for long as she is now been recruited by a splinter of the MI6, who are aware of a female assassin that has been operated for a few years.

Killing Eve impresses with its dark humour and quirky characters. Shame about the poor guy in the neighbouring flat who fancied Villanelle.

Villanelle is the show!!!
spencerdawg-969698 June 2019
Season 2 was not as good as season 1 but it had its moments. Jodie is still killing it as Villanelle and is the only reason why I still watch the show. Her emotions and facial expressions are on point. The writers sure made Eve annoying AF this season. I felt like I was watching Cristina Yang from Grey's Anatomy as a MI6 agent. Sandra does sarcastic well but cmon she really needs to work on her emotions. I felt every emote was the same ... startled confused look gets annoying real fast. The chemistry between Konstantin & Villanelle is off the charts. Hoping they also bring back the actress that played Konstantin's daughter ... she and Villanelle were great together. Villanelle truly makes everyone else on the show more interesting!!!

Phony Russians
vova-632-38219419 August 2018
I'm so tired of shows supposedly portraying various nationalities and not bothering to hire actors of that nationality or at least the ones who can believably learn their lines in the language they suppose to speak. This episode is the case in point. You have three actors who are supposed to be Russians and they can not manage a single coherent phrase between them in that language. How are we suppose to believe in ANYTHING that's going on in this show after that? It just shows lack of care and respect for international viewers.
