"Claire the Sexologist" is a world-beater, only in comparison to the general mediocrity of most other Marc Dorcel releases. The ancient pornographer has sprung for some top talent this time, and it helps pull this video up by its boot-straps.

Title figure Claire Castel is unfortunately mired with a rut of working for Dorcel's chief hack Herve Bodilis -I've never seen her in anyone else's project. Fortunately he has a talented co-director Pascal Lucas, helping the show out immensely.

The sexologist gambit allows six sex scenes to be strung together (just like they did in the loop carriers of porn's Golden Age of theatrical releases), as Claire listens to her patients' tales of woe, and is even stimulated to role-play in emulation of their stories.

Anna Polina, Dorcel's greatest star of recent times, is highly effective, and ample breastage is also supplied by the younger international favorite Valentina Nappi. But of course it is Castel who the punters have paid to see, and she delivers a plethora of anal-sex and d.p.'s for her loyal fans. She also narrates and owns up to being a mature leading lady, self-describing her character with "32 ans" (two years older than her real age when this was shot).

The cast alternately speaks in French or English, as it is international in nature, Nappi hailing from Italy and cute Alexa Tomas a quite popular young Spaniard. The most successful of the bunch in spreading her wings around the world is blonde Jessie Volt, something of a fixture in Chatsworth in recent years.
