Sex & Nudity

  • Recurring scenes are set in in a club/brothel where women are seen topless, and nude from the rear. Most of these views are brief. Views of women in bras and panties or dominatrix attire are longer and more frequent. Men are seen without shirts, and there's a quick flash of one man's penis. A small statue is nude from the rear. Sex toys shaped like breasts are seen. A stuffed cloth mannequin has visible large male genitals; a man preoccupied by conversation is seen holding it by the penis.
  • There are a couple of short male/female sex scenes with visible thrusting. Sex is implied in other instances. Men and women kiss. Two women kiss. Male/male sex is discussed but not shown. Prostitutes are mentioned. One woman offers a man a hand job. Sexual conversations are frequent and sometimes explicit.
  • Marital infidelity plays a role in the story.
  • We see a man's tattoo of penis and testicles.

Violence & Gore

  • Military weapons are fired recklessly at watermelons, which explode into mush. An animal is shot, but this is only seen for a split second; the possibility of shooting them regularly is discussed.

  • A man is punched in the face. There are also a couple of minor scuffles.
  • We see vomit disgorged by a character.

Profanity

  • There's a lot of sex talk, but profanity is not very frequent as (English subtitled). Slurs seem to be absent, and "f*ck" is used just a few times. Other usage is sporadic.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Bachelor partiers engage in extensive drinking in clubs and elsewhere, resulting in rude behavior. There's also some social drinking. Cigarette smoking is shown very briefly a few times, and more intensively once as a product of stress or anger.
  • An extended scene shows intoxication and hallucinations due to unwitting use of Ecstasy.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man considering suicide is shown teetering on the parapet of a building.
  • Drunk or careless guys are shown firing weapons without good control.
