Culture clash? More like culture trash!

The title here on imdb "Mötley Crüe: Girls, Girls, Girls" includes the name of the band you are about to hear in this 4.5-minute music video as well as the song, certainly among the defining from their career. I still wonder about the ö's and ü's I can't deny. Anyway, the director here is Wayne Isham and with his gigantic experience already back then (he worked with some real legends and it is also not the only video he directed for MC), I honestly did not think it would turn out this bad. The band members arrive at a strip club, enjoy the show while using knives to chase away everybody who will not accept immediately they are the masters of the house. Oh well, talk about masculinity at its most embarrassing. I would not say it is a misogynistic music video though, but certainly also not on the other end of the scale. Anyway, there is also no chronology as in-between the band is seen on motobikes. i think real bikers are embarrassed by the way they are depicted in here. Apart from that, the song is a mess. The chorus is slightly catchy I cannot deny, but apart from that there is nothing positive I can say about the song at all. Says a lot if this is among Mötley Crüe's most famous. Of course, band leader Tommy Lee is probably known more for his short-lived marriage with Baywatch's Pamela Anderson than for anything he achieved in music, so I am not surprised at all I cannot see any creativity in this song and music video. If you want to get to know the song, listen to it without the pointless and empty music video, but the best choice would obviously be to skip it altogether. It's a mess and a failure in my opinion. Highly not recommended. The 80s brought a lot of good in music, more than you'd expect probably even, but this is the exact opposite.
