And the heat is definitely on with this song and video. A power rock classic by Glenn Frey "The Heat Is On" is the strong theme from the hit "Beverly Hills Cop" which defined Eddie Murphy as an action/comedy star and it's a theme that you cannot dissociate from the film (except for that one time where it played on a chase sequence from "30 Minutes or Less", which may be the very first contact with the song for new generations). This clip here presents several iconic moments from Martin Brest's film along with a film editor working on his movie while Frey and band perform the song.

For a soundtrack clip, it truly captures the spirit of a feelgood soundtrack video, bringing nostalgic memories from the film (also works as a film trailer for those who haven't seen "Beverly Hills Cop") and a nice way to see the musicians perform the great inside the studio/editing room set.
