On the face of it this is a simple concept, which is to play out lifecycles at high speed with animation snapping us through. Peace leads to war, consumerism leads to excess, and in the end it all leads to individual death. I read a write-up of it all that suggests that there is more intelligence in this than comes across - and to be fair there certainly was a lot of thought that went into the reason for the images, the selection of the objects making up the animation. This doesn't totally come through to the viewer though, and the film is perhaps not as sharp as the design process, however it is very well delivered and the animation builds on the idea well. The flow through objects, shapes, and commentary fits very well and makes for an enjoyable slick piece of stop-motion animation.
