The good the bad and the funny
Just-A-Girl-1430 July 2020
The good thing is we got a good explanation for what happened during the two year jump. We don't have all the details yet but we did get to see Kurt&Jane's wedding and we do know why Jane left Kurt. We also know what happened to the team once Mr. and Ms. Weller left the FBI.

The bad thing is that the new bad guy is Roman. As I mentioned in my review of the last season finale, I didn't like it that they made Roman the bad guy after spending so much time watching him reconnect with Jane. I wanted to see them fight Sandstorm together. Once he chose Jane over Shepherd I thought they were going to strengthen the bond between the two siblings and have them fight back for everything that happened to them since they were young. So, while I'm happy to see more of Luke Mitchell, I'm not happy to see him back as the villain!

The funny thing is that we're actually going back to the beginning. It's a sort of a start over. We have the team back together working on the tattoos in order to catch the bad guy who was previously Shepherd/Sandstorm and now is Roman/whatever mission he is headed. Except now every member of the team is hiding something. So while it was a good episode with decent explanations and lots of action I just don't know if I have the energy to watch the same thing happening again. I will probably continue to watch but I hope they have some fresh and exciting ideas for what's coming next, because doing the exact same thing over again is a bit tiring.

Good start to new season

Warning: Spoilers
Unlike others who have reviewed this episode I actually enjoyed it. Yeah they could have found something different than new tattoos, or they could have left Patterson, Zapata, and Reade hanging for an episode or two.

But clearly some have not paid attention to this episode or last season. The baby is Kurt's, but it is not Jane's. His ex was pregnant. He even asked Jane in this episode if she ever thought about having one of their own. Why did the baby disappear? She lives with her mom!

Now I'm more disappointed that they replaced Roman. I know he's on Midnight Texas, but that was a summer show. Couldn't he do both?

Anyway looking forward to seeing how some of the things from the end of the episode play out over the season.

People Clearly aren't watching it

Warning: Spoilers
Spoiler Alert *********************

First time i have placed a review on here and reason for this is looking at some peoples reviews i feel i need to.

People Slating the first episode of Blindspot Season 3 stating that Jane and Weller had a baby and it was Discarded like a prop.... Clearly states in the episode that Weller is happy that is Ex Allie is working nights so he can spend more time with his child.

These things can be very annoying when people do reviews and they have clearly not watched or listened closely enough to the episode before writing it.

Episode itself i thought was really good and yes it is another set of tattoos but looks like there is a lot of backstory to catch up on in the last 18 months so really looking forward to see what happens

Very Good Episode
marsbob28 October 2017
Blindspot: Very very good first episode and hopefully it will be the first of many after the poor season 2 where things got a bit boring and a cliché but this first episode had a lot of action and a lot of really good moments so I recommend you watch it. Also the action seems to being going up and getting more intense and hopefully if it retains all the audience it currently has hopefully there will be a season 4 but right now its too early to call!

We didn't need this

Warning: Spoilers
Wish they ended the series after 2 seasons. Starts with few minutes of Jane and Kurst marrying and living happily with some random baby. I never thought this to be very good show or anything but now it's turned god awful. Plot - Completely lame, like new tattoos, ha didn't expect that did ya? Action scenes - Expecting at least some fight scenes, nope, cut and just show hero emerging victorious. Acting - I'm still confused how bad the acting is. Like was I drunk watching this both previous 2 seasons that I didn't notice how forced everything is? OK Kurt has always been laughable, but now everybody is like that. Music sucks, dialogues suck. Guys just took the money for 3rd season and made some crap to fill the airtime.

Oh man, not more!

Warning: Spoilers
They should've cut their losses after that weak second season, and now this stupid, pointless, worthless third series that nobody wanted, nobody cares about and I assumed nobody watched. A fourth season has been announced and it'll be paired up with The Blacklist. Presumably to shore up low numbers, by partnering it with another show that's losing steam because it's been on too long and confuses ambiguity for complexity.
