- A couple of explosions with fireballs. A vehicle is blown up, killing a woman and child.

- The idea of having guns bolted to your hands and forced to fight to the death is frightening in itself.

- The way the guns are bolted to the main character's hands is somewhat gory when shown up close; bloody screws and bolts appear to have been painfully drilled through his palms and fingers.
- Towards the end of the film, Nix (Samara Weaving) gets two fingers cut off in a fight.

- Towards the end, Nix blows herself up, sacrificing herself.
