Documentary about the murder of an innocent man by the police in Southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul just because he was black. Testimonies are strong and allow spectator to follow the racist crime and its following events, such as how military police tried to make impunity endure and harassed the press. The photographer and journalists from Zero Hora newspaper have been crucial for having that assassination unveiled, and it is also well narrated by themselves in the film. Júlio César deserves justice and to be honored. The structure of this documentary by black filmmaker Camila de Moraes brings no innovations, but is is competent in denouncing and remembering a serious felony by the state itself. Essential documentary on structural racism and criminal military police in Brazil.
