Sex & Nudity

  • At the beginning the emperor is with some women behind the curtain laughing and playing when he interrupts by a messenger.
  • Two characters begin to kiss. They eventually lie back, him on top of her. This is seen from a distance, no explicit movements scene, only kissing and then the camera cuts
  • No nudity, but there is a couple short scenes that imply sex behind a thick curtain

Violence & Gore

  • People are getting stabbed and killed with a lot of blood shedding.
  • A character cut the throat of other two soldiers and kills them.
  • The battles are very bloody with a lot of blood shedding. Lots of pooling blood, bloody injuries, and a few slit throats.
  • An extremely bloody and dark film throughout, with blood and gore increasing significantly in the last third.
  • In one scene two soldiers are stabbed, and the sound of their blood spraying is VERY audible.

  • In one of the final scenes, a characters throat is suddenly slit. You do not see it happen due to camera angle, and no wound is seen. However, he is seen grabbing his throat as blood spurts. He falls to the ground gasping and a small amount of blood is seen on the ground. Later in the same scene a man is suddenly stabbed from behind. He falls to the ground gasping and coughing up blood
