This series follows Nino Arisugawa; a girl who loves singing. During her childhood she was affected by the departure of two friends; first Momo and then Yuzu. These boys had never met but each promised that music would bring them back together. Six years later they are in high school and Nino is reunited with Yuzu. He is a member of the band 'in NO hurry to shout' and invites Nino to become the group's singer. When singing she wears a black wig, a mask and heavy makeup. She has a raw energy that makes the group popular and she hopes this will bring her back together with Momo
however when she meets him again he appears to have no interest in her or her music. She is still determined that it will reach him though.
This is a pretty solid music anime with interesting characters. The designs were pretty distinctive; especially when Nino is in her performing attire; so many series these days have characters that look similar in style but thanks to their attire these are far from cliché. The story is entertaining and as the end approached I was intrigued as to whether she would be reunited with Momo even if I though his character was a bit irritating due to how he treated her. I'll admit that the music wanted to my taste, being a bit to 'shouty', but it is certainly sung with gusto, especially in the final concert. Overall I'd see that this was a pretty good series; not a must see but certainly enjoyable.
