"Charlie Puth Feat. Selena Gomez: We Don't Talk Anymore" is a music video from 2016 that runs for slightly under 4 minutes and was directed by Phil Pinto. In the title I just mentioned you can read the names of the two singers and also the name of the title of the song that was a Top10 hit in America and made it to number one even in some other countries (Romania, Italy...) Okay, another generic relationship song. Puth's high-pitched singing certainly isn't for everyone and that includes me as well i'm afraid. He's certainly no Sam Smith. There is hardly more than the slightly catchy chorus here. However, I was positively surprised by Selena Gomez here. Her singing part is maybe the highlight of the song and I wish it was longer. Initially, I thought she was the stunning woman we see in here, but no it is Mirella Cardoso. Good for her. Honestly, there is nothing really memorable otherwise about this song and especially video and I am glad it was this short. The split-screen idea adds absolutely nothing and does not elevate the extremely medicore material. It's not a failure, but I don't really see a single reason to say you should check out the music video and not just listen to the record. Or do neither perhaps. baffling to see stuff like this break the 1 billion mark on Youtube so quickly. I give it a thumbs-down. Not recommended.

A nice song, inspired collaboration . But , unfortunately, nothing more. If you are fan of Selena Gomez, no doubt, it is a good video . If not or /and older than the target of it, the problem becomes complicated. Because you discover what you know. No nuances, no identity mark. But , sure, nice is a decent definition in this case.
