Rest in peace Dolores

These slightly over 5 minutes we got here are the music video for Zombie by the band The Cranberries and this was released back in 1994, so it has its 25th anniversary next year. The really sad occasion for which I am writing this review is the recent death of the band's lead singer Dolores O'Riordan and she did not live to reach this 25-year anniversary unfortunately. But lets refelct on the positive now. This is an amazing song really and a very good music video too that goes well together with the music and it's really stylish, really creative and really way ahead of its time. And lets not forget that Dolores was just in her 20s back then when this was released and boy what a voice she has for such a young woman. Tragic stuff now, pretty sad. We should be grateful for the music though that she left us and I know I am. While I was never a huge Cranberries fan I guess, they had a few songs that I liked listening to here and then and this one is not only among their most famous, but it is also among their most special for me personally. So it comes very easy for me to recommend this one to everybody who reads this review. Watch it. Listen to it and send a prayer Dolores' way. I hope she rests in peace, peace she may not always have found during her way too short lifetime. Highly recommended. This is a beautiful piece of art.
